So in my musical exploration tonight I found a song that is *incredibly* on the nose for one of my WIPs. So on the nose that putting it on the playlist is basically a spoiler for the end of the damn thing.

So on one hand its super cool that I just happened to find a song that is perfect for the whole fic. On the other, I’m a little disappointed that I’m not as creative as I thought.

When I write outlines, I like to come up with a list of tags I know are going to be needed for the fic. This helps me when it comes time for tagging because I have a list already. Also, it’s a good way of helping me keep track of things that should be warned as I write.

Which is all good fun but sometimes, on tags alone, it looks more intense or bonkers than it actually is. Case and point:

Me 98% of the time: I have 30,000 AU ideas based on movies, my favorite stories, and quirky situations I’ve overheard at parties.

Me when trying to come up with ideas specifically for AU hopping: …. something about vegetables???

Okay, just so we’re clear (because apparently people are having words about it) I literally don’t give a crap what you write in fanfic. No matter how strange I think it is or how very Not Into It I am I’m not here to harsh anyone’s mellow. Please don’t ever mistake me for the kind of person who gets bend outta shape over crossover fics or w/e.

We’re all kinda weird here. You do you.
