wait WHAT? people chased her off social media? what the actual fuck, she’s such a sweetie!

YUP! She deleted everything off her Instagram within the last day or so. (I should warn that there’s some seriously gross racism cited in the article.) 

She’s been nothing but sweet and positive but people are the fucking worst and decided it would be cool to be disgusting assholes to her. Unfortunately, it’s not limited to just her, either. Daisy was chased off Instagram about a year ago, too, apparently. (Conflicting reports about that one. Some claim it was because she made comments about gun control, others claim she got tired of comments ragging on her appearance.) Regardless, it’s fucking gross and I’m so pissed. I don’t know if these people were fucking raised by wolves or what but I just can’t fathom thinking it’s okay or good to be that cruel to a person over her doing her job. Like when did “if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all” go out of fashion? What the fuck?

8 : What author would you be most excited to be compared to?

Oh, boy, I don’t know. I’ve had people compare me to dead pretentious white dude authors before (and they meant it as a compliment) and that was a little scaring lol. I wouldn’t mind being compared to Li-Young Lee or Louis Simpson because I want my fiction to be poetic and I love both of their styles. 

10 : Do you brain-storm story ideas alone or with others?

Depends. If it’s an idea I know one of my friends would enjoy talking about or I get stuck somewhere I’ll brainstorm with other folks but if no one else is interested I’ll figure it out on my own. 

23 : Are you proud or anxious to show off your writing?

I tend to be more anxious than proud. The things I love the most are usually the ones that get completely overlooked so it’s a little disheartening. I’m not anxious about showing off the things I think are total crap though, those ones I’ve just completely given up on by the time I post them.

best quality: I love that Rose is steadfast in what she believes. She’s firm in what she feels are wrong and right but she’s not cold or unfeeling about it, either. 
worst quality: I don’t really think she has bad qualities. She’s angry, but I feel hers is an example of how anger can be a benefit instead of a detriment.

misc. thoughts: I love Rose. She’s so freaking cute and she doesn’t put up with any shit and she’s kickass. She’s allowed to feel a range of emotions, she’s got a strong moral center, she’s a good teacher for Fiin, and she’s fun. I wish there was more Rose content.

Fic title – Just Stop Already

Sorry this took so long, I was pretty stumped. 

DCJ. Canonverse. Divergent…. somewhere around season 6/7/8-ish. 

Jimmy’s been riding shotgun in his own body long enough to know what’s going on unspoken between Dean and Cas. He knows the look in Dean’s eyes and he knows the churning emotions Castiel is developing aren’t just about the bigger picture of heaven and hell and humanity. There’s not a whole lot he can do about it, though. 

That is until after the whole Godstiel fiasco. After he wakes up in the home of a strange woman, completely alone in his own body, he’s not sure what he should do. He finds Amelia and Claire, happy without him and he doesn’t even bother barging in and ruining their lives… again. The only thing left to do, really, is find Dean and figure out what the hell happened to Cas. That’s easier said than done, though, because Castiel isn’t answering and Dean… 

Jimmy understands. He knows their baggage, their lingering looks, their longing. He’s lived it, after all. It just doesn’t help that Dean still looks at him like he’s the angel, or that Jimmy finds himself wishing that he could either make it stop or make a move. He’s not sure if whether or not it’s a mistake when they tumble into bed together, desperately wishing things were different. 

And then, wouldn’t you know it, Castiel pops back in, a whisp of his former angelic glory, desperate for a safe haven. Heaven isn’t pleased and they’re looking for him. Jimmy says yes once more, and in doing so subjects all three of them to a brand new level of hellish longing.

I think a lot of it is picking who to have those.convos with and, if they’re public and random other folks weigh in, who to ignore. Like there are convos I would have with you or triss because I trust you both but i wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole from a stranger

True. There’s not really anything I can do to keep public conversations or ideas from getting picked up by folks I don’t know and don’t want to talk to (aside from blocking, but you never really know who’s gonna be an issue suddenly). So it’s just a matter of finding the right people to have the right conversations with and not getting caught up in stuff I don’t want to be. 

I just get disheartened, I think. I need to fix that.
