Important question: As a reader, which do you prefer –> Cas’ or Cas’s
Hmm, two people for Cas’s and three for Cas’. Plus academic feedback indicating it should be Cas’s. I’m even more torn now!

Either way is acceptable, so long as you stick with it. Personally, I was always taught adding the second ‘s’ was redundant and messy. Which I agree with, so I always use Cas’.
As a reader, I don’t care. As a writer, I use Cas’ because I was taught that names ending with an S just need the s’ instead of the s’s.
Depending on which grammar rules you follow, either is correct. However, a lot of times, people tend to go with singular nouns with s’s, and plural with just s’. But technically, it doesn’t matter. Just use the one you like best.
I’ve looked it up, and yes both are technically correct. As long as you pick one and are consistent, you’re good 🙂
… That being said, I use Cas’ and it does always surprise me when I see Cas’s because like… why so many esses?
I was always taught that you only use s’ for plurals which is why I always use Cas’s. I don’t care either way really, it just throws me off for a second if I see Cas’.
