A resolution you make every year: I don’t make resolutions unless they’re complete jokes. One year I made a resolution to not match my socks a single day in the year (and I actually kept it).

Favorite thing about tumblr: It’s a good place to find fandom stuff and make friends who have the same interests that you do.

Least favorite thing about tumblr: Bad information and outdated information spreads really easily. Also, it’s one of the worst platforms to have actual nuanced discussions about things on but people insist on doing it anyway. Oh, and the culture of guilt and shame. (There are a lot of things I don’t like about tumblr.)

Weapon of choice: A sharp tongue and a quick wit.

Something not many people know about you: There’s a lot lol. Uhhhhhhh….. I’m actually super argumentative and I’m always up for a debate (almost always, sometimes I need to sleep). I get kinda jittery after a while if I haven’t had the opportunity to argue with someone about something so I wind up driving my brothers crazy b/c I’ll just start arguing about whatever’s on my mind (pop culture most of the time) and they’re like “dude, I agree with you. I get it!” and I’m like “nooooo! fight me!!!”. I enjoy playing devil’s advocate in these sorts of things, too. But for the most part I try to keep it off tumblr b/c that shit gets out of hand quick and like I said earlier, nuance doesn’t exist.

Favorite means of transport: Someone else drives me everywhere. (I hate driving.)

Favorite story: Watership Down by Richard Adams. I read the blurb on the back and it sounded really interested and then I started reading it and I was like “wait, this is about rabbits?!?!” But it was really a good book and I enjoyed it immensely. It’s kind of… idk if epic is the right word but it does have shades of epic storytelling. I read it last…. six years ago? But I still think about it from time to time.

Chicken or egg: Chicken

Something that always makes you laugh: Anything my brother does. Seriously the kid is hilarious.

What is the strangest thing about you: Pick a thing; I’m not normal by any standard.

You get to switch places with someone for a day, who is it and why: The alternate version of myself that is everything I want to be and has everything I could only dream of. And then I’d find a way to sabotage the reversal process and steal alternate me’s life.

Writing to-do List

I was tagged by @deadlykittenkay and @mrsgabrieltrickster to post the stuff I’m working on.

I don’t have any live WIPs at the moment (meaning posted) so all of these are things I need to actually write or finish or post. There are a few I’ve left off because they’re super secret and I can’t talk about them.

Ties That Bind (DeanCasJimmy with witch!Jimmy and witch!Cas)
A few months ago I posted this for the hell of it but I like the idea of plant bondage and it would work for my magic AU in my poly bingo so I might as well. It’s explicit, ‘cause bondage.

Untitled Drag Queen Thing (DeanCasJimmy with drag queen!Jimmy and genderfluid!Cas)
Also for the poly bingo. It would fill the genderfluid character square. I really want to write Jimmy in a sexy blue dress and have Cas be much better at makeup than Jimmy. Also, genderfluid!Cas is important.

Basically, the awkward dinner to end all awkward dinners. Would fill the cross-couple square.

Seriously though, there’s a lot of story and a whole world I have to wrap my head around. Now that I have more time to do it, I can think about Dean’s life growing up with Cain as his adoptive father.

Untitled Arranged Marriage Fic (Dean/Michael, Dean/Anna, Dean/Micahel/Anna)
What the not-title says. For the poly bingo. That’s as far as I’ve gotten so far.

Across the Earth (pending title. Sam/Sarah sequel to Under the Surface)
Sam-centric fic that’s technically a sequel to Under the Surface. It would start as Sam gets to Winchester and would focus on him grieving and dealing with Samuel in the first half. It would change a little as it would deal with the aftermath of the events in Under the Surface, which means those characters I mentioned in the final chapter would play a much bigger role. Also, Sam and Sarah falling in love and Sam being a badass leader.

5 WIPs

I was tagged by @purgatoan and @samanddeaninpanties to list my top five wips.

Okay, I’ll be honest, I’m not working on a lot right now. I have a few fics for the rare pair challenge but I’m not putting them on here because they’ll be up in like, a day or so *fingers crossed*. Also, I have the thing for spn short stories which I don’t think I’m allowed to talk about. So, here are some I’m either working on or will be working on. Also, I have a comissioned fic I can’t talk about.

1. The Dragon’s Keep
This was supposed to be my WBB but I can’t keep the momentum up so I’m gonna keep working on it and post chapter by chapter when I get some more done. Dean’s a knight who was adopted by Cain after his village was destroyed by a dragon, killing his mom and little brother in the process. He’s out tracking a dragon’s nest with two of his knight buddies when they’re ambushed and he gets separated and severely injured. Que a rescue from Sam, a ¾ dragon who’s surprisingly shy. I’m two and a half chapters into this one but it’s gonna get longer because I have the time to develop a secondary plot with Dean’s life as a knight.

2. Passive- Aggressive Undertaking
Dean/Ketch and Dean/Meg (maybe Dean/Ketch/Meg? idk yet.) Its an AU for the polybingo. I just need to finish the sex scene. If I don’t do Dean/Ketch/Meg, it’ll be a poly-v. Dean and Ketch are funeral directors. (Side note: apparently this is a thing we’re doing because @maliciouslycreative mentioned an undertaker Dean/Ketch thing, too. I guess these two just have to be treasure hunters/archeologist or undertakers.)

3. Winjimstiel Serial Killer AU
I have no idea what I’m calling this yet. I have a plot and a scene down. I have no idea how dark this is gonna be but I also want it to be kind of darkly funny? Like I have this image of Cas and Sam warming up by burning bodies because they’re the only ones allowed to dispose of the bodies anymore because Jimmy and Dean wont stop fucking around and making dumb jokes with the organs (I heart you, I only have eyes for you, that kinda stuff). But also theres tactile necrophilia so *shrugs*. It’s probably just gonna be me reading this.

4. Like Mother, Like Son
Another polybingo square but this one is cross couple. It’s Dean/Ketch, Ketch/Mary. Dean is awkward. Jimmy thinks it’s funny. I’ve got two scenes down but it’s supposed to be short. (She says as if she’s capable of writing short things.)

5. Some Things Last Ficlets
If you’ve read this you probably have some idea of why I want to keep writing this verse. No spoilers, but Claire has to grow up and Balthazar is gonna be sooooo pissed when he finds out stuff. Also, the whole verse needs more Sam. These are just vague ideas at this point.

1. what season did you start watching supernatural? –
Oh, boy. Season 9, I think? I know I watched the season 9 finale a day after it aired. I binged season 1-9 in a couple of months.

2. who was the first character you fell in love with? –
Dean, probably. He’s always been my favorite but it was more that he grew on me rather than that I loved him instantly.

3. who was a character that you hated at first but grew to love? –
Hmmmm. I didn’t actually hate any of the characters? Sam used to irritate me but I think that had more to do with the whole “are they gonna stay together? are they gonna split up? are they gonna keep lying to each other until they have to go their separate ways?” thing. Now that that’s over I actually wish we knew more about who Sam is as a person.

4. which character would you most want to be in a long-term relationship with? –
Claire, I think. She’s closer to my age than any of the other characters and she’s cute. Plus I just really like her a lot.

5. if you could go on just one date with one character, which one would you choose? –
One date? Dean probably. That could be fun.

6. what would you do on the date? –
You know….

7. which character would you most want to be like? –
I wish I was more like Sam. He’s brave and selfless and compassionate and I wish I could be like that. I’m okay on the compassion front but I am not very brave and I’d probably save my own ass before running in to danger to save total strangers, and probably wouldn’t willingly sentence myself to enternity in Hell for the sake of the whole world.

8. which character would you most like to see brought back from the dead? –
*snorts* I have a list. Basically, if they died, I want them back.
Top of the list is Kevin, Alicia, Charlie, Rowena, Cas (though that’s likely to happen), Eileen, Jo, Ellen… I could go on.

9. which character would you most like to punch? –
Chuck. You can’t just pull the “not my circus, not my monkeys” crap when you literally created the circus and the monkeys.

10. who is your absolute favorite character? –
Dean. It’s toally Dean.

11. which “big bad” do you think was the worst? –
Worst as in best or worst as in sucked? Worst as in best is probably Abaddon. She was just fun. Worst as in sucked was Amara. She was too flat and didn’t do all that much. Also, Amara wasn’t a villain, so…

12. which character are you most like? –
Dean. Again. I’m the oldest sibling, basically raised my brothers, gave up things I wanted to help my family, have a truck load and a half of daddy issues, would absolutely sell my soul for my brothers, am a little too sarcastic and prone to anger, don’t use my words, and make references no one else gets. It’s really no surprise that I relate.

13. what death hit you the hardest? –
Recently, Cas’s. That was fucking shocking and awful. I do still cry when I watch Bobby’s death, though, because that was hard to watch (I was going through some stuff with my own dad at the time.)

14. what season finale hit you the hardest? –
Outisde of the obviously (see above) I think season 9′s finale was the most shocking. Season 5 would be up there but Sam’s not being dead at the end kinda took away some of the punch. It was a marvelous episode, though. Season 9 was like “woah, wait, hold the fuck up” for me. (Even though knew they were gonna fix it in the first three episodes. Have you noticed they have a pattern of doing that? The first three episodes of the new season usually fix one of the big issues of the last season pretty much since season 8.)

15. what are your ten all-time favorite episodes? –
*cracks knuckles* In order from favorite to still favorite but less than the others:

16. what’s been your favorite season? –
Probably season 3 or 4. I really loved a lot of the episodes in season 3 and it was a weird mix of funny and heartbreaking. I’m partial to 4 because I really loved the inclusion of the apocalypse plot and the addition of angels. It kind of changed the plot from just about these two brothers fighting monsters to these two heroes saving the world, imo.

17. who is your favorite angel? –
Castiel. (obv) But if I had to pick another I’d say Balthazar.

18. who’s your favorite demon? –
Meg. She had such a great character arc.

19. who’s your favorite evil character? –
Hmmm. Evil is such a loaded word. Straight up evil and not just a villain? Abaddon.

20. do you have any supernatural ships? –
*snort* I dunno, I just don’t think any of these characters are really “shipable”. I mean, why would I want to put any of them in relationships? To play with stories and dynamics? Yeah, no, I don’t see it.

All kidding aside, it’s easier to ask me who and what I don’t ship.

21. who’s your favorite supporting actor? –
Okay, how am I supposed to answer this? I love practically everyone in the cast. David Haydn-Jones is one of my favorites, though. He’s so adorable.

22. what’s your favorite quote from the show? –
“Freedom is a length of rope; God wants you to hang yourself with it.”

23. if you could cast one famous actor in an episode of spn, who would you chose? –
Betty White as either a badass witch or the new ruler of Hell. (But she plays herself.)

24. if you could write your own episode, what kind of creature would you like to see included? –
Feck. Umm…
OH! I know! A chupacabra! They’ve mentioned a chupacarba incident in Albuquerque a few times on the show so I’d like to see that. (Also I’m from abq so I’d know what kind of fun stuff TFW could do in abq….it’s not a lot, but I’m sure Dean would have something to say about the amusement park in the middle of the damn city.)

25. who’s your favorite girl that dean’s hooked up with? –
Cassie was my favorite.

26. who’s your favorite girl that sam’s hooked up with? –
Jess. It’s sad, because we didn’t get much of her, but I think she could’ve been awesome.

27. what are some of your favorite convention moments? –
I don’t usually keep up with cons, just reblog some of the JIB stuff. This last one was wild though.

28. if you were going to guest star (or be a recurring guest star) on spn, how would you want your character described? –
I would be faceless victim #3, are you kidding? It might be fun to be a demon though.

29. what do you hope to see in the next season? –
Okay, so last summer I was writing a thing and they took some of my ideas but made them lame. (Nephilim, enochian brass knuckles, space/time riffs) so, if anyone’s listening and waiting to steal my ideas listen up and take notes:
– AU hoping in which Sam, Dean, and Cas learn stuff about themselves. If you can only do one, do an AU that is basically this world, in which Sam, Dean, and Cas are at a real spn convention and they can see just how much they’re loved. Sam can see how much on an inspiration he is to people and how his struggles with feeling like a freak gives people hope (and that no one thinks he’s a freak really). Dean can see how his softer side is adored and embraced wholeheartedly, and that fans love him with all his kinks and softness as much as they love his badassery. Cas can see that people see value in him exactly how he is and that he doesn’t need to pull in a win for people to want him; he can see he has worth just by being. Also, I think it would be cool for J2M to meet TFW.
– Sam and Cas being buddies.
– Sam and Dean in the bunker, just doing whatever it is they do when they don’t have a case. Maybe they’re looking for an artifact and they get distracted along the way? (Maybe it’s an ancient distraction curse?) I just wanna know if a) the bunker has a pool and b) Sam can do tricks off he high dive.
– Jack not being a villain. I know, long shot, but I’m very much not buying into the whole “son of Satan has to be an evil prick” thing.
