I definitely think it’s time for me to bring back my character appreciation posts.

My mountain. Not pictured, the longest tram in the US.
Me 98% of the time: I have 30,000 AU ideas based on movies, my favorite stories, and quirky situations I’ve overheard at parties.
Me when trying to come up with ideas specifically for AU hopping: …. something about vegetables???
So.
I’m pretty low on… idk, mental energy? I guess? I don’t have much in me to hold conversations with people right now and I’m sorry. I don’t like to get involved in politics on my blog much because this past year or so has been a lot more stressful and horrifying but this month has been… well it’s hit me a lot harder than I’d been expecting. I feel like I’m a volcano and sooner or later I’m just going to explode. I’m so incredibly angry and I’m tired of everything. On top of everything else I’m just… I dunno. I don’t really have a whole lot to give right now.
I’m still going to be working on writing. I’m not sure how much of it’s going to get done in this next little bit or what I’m actually going to be working on (I’d expect more whump right now, honestly) but we’ll see. Maybe I’ll feel better after I put my faves through hell.
There are asks in my askbox and I’ll get to them but just not today. Sorry.
You know what I’d really like to do? I’d really like to do a multiship love blog. I’m not sure if the SW fandom is familiar with the concept of “love weeks” but I think doing something like that would be a really great way to connect people through their mutual love of different ships.
If you’re not familiar with it, “love weeks” go like this:
1) One week a year is announced for a specific ship. People who want to participate reblog the post and send an ask to the love week blog. Then they’re matched with another blog that signed up.
2) A list of prompts for specific days are posted on the blog.
3) The love week is 100% anonymous. After you’re matched you go on anon and introduce yourself to your matched blog. You ask for things they’re interested in and if they have any squicks or triggers. The week of, you leave short fic, a piece of art, or headcanons in line with the themes of the day and what your blog said they’d like.
4) At the end of the week, you can reveal your identity, if you want. You don’t have to.
I know the fandom really likes appreciation weeks and fic weeks, which is great, but I feel like love weeks would be a great way to connect people who ship different things. It could even be extended to individual characters, too.
IDK, it’s just something I think would be neat.
I don’t think I’m ever gonna be drunk enough to accept the reality that Abraham H Parnassus is gonna be A Thing popping up in fic now.
No hate but like… Imma need a few screwdrivers to touch that.
Sometimes I forget this is my blog and I’m allowed to post whatever bullshit I think of.
Maybe I’m an old man but goddamn, these vampires with blood dripping down their chins–that’s your food!! THAT’S YOUR FOOD!! Close!! Your!! Mouth!! You think some asshole slobbering chicken noodle soup or yogurt or clam chowder all down themselves would be sexy??? What makes you any different, you sticky-stained slackjawed screwball??? Close your mouth!! Use a napkin!! And for godssakes stop looking so smug, like, “Oooo, I’m a creature of the night look at what sustains me” yeah uh huh a fucking lack of basic hygiene is what I’m seeing and it is not impressive!! At all!! My nephews are three years old and they drool less than you do!! You’re how many centuries old?!?! ACT LIKE IT
Oh, right. Uhm. If you’re new to following me you need to know sometimes I write really fucked up shit. *shrugs*
It was Star Wars dress up day at my brother’s high school. (Its spirit week and their homecoming is Disney themed.) And let me just tell you, if you thought I was an annoying villain stan… this dude curled his hair and stomped around all day growling at people to let the past die.
