Under the Missile Toe
SPNColdestHits’ December Prompt (Posting Dates 15-18)

@thayerkerbasy won November’s Writing Challenge, which means they get to pick the theme for December, and they’ve decided on Under the Missile Toe!

Your fic needs to be inspired by the title of a Christmas song. The fic does not have to be about Christmas, only inspired by the title of one. If you need a list, check out This List of 100 Popular Songs.

Bonus +Points and -Points for December:

  • -20 points for including one of These Hideous Decorations in the fic or in your banner/art
  • -10 commenter and 20+ the receiver per AO3 “gift” (comment) but only the first 5 on each fic count and they must be thoughtful comments
  • -100 points for including a Denny’s at midnight
  • slip one or more of Denny’s food items into your banner/artwork and you’ll get -points per promo: -5 for obvious, -10 for camouflaged, -20 points for well-hidden (but it has to actually be there!)
  • -10 per podfic if you sneak in the words (or what sounds like) egg nog

If we think you didn’t read the fic and you’re commenting, kudosing, and promoing anyway, you’ll get +1000 points, so be sure to read!!

Galactic Tentacles
SPNColdestHits’ November Prompt (Posting Dates 15-20)
extended time because of NaNoWriMo

@formidablepassion​ won October’s Writing Challenge, which means she gets to pick the theme for November, and she’s decided on Galactic Tentacles!

Your fic needs to be about tentacles and/or GalacticCap (the link isn’t quite work safe, but it’s not pr0n and is about as work safe as you can get when talking about a new type of condom). Even if you pick one instead of both, they both need to be mentioned in the fic.

There are also multiple bonus -point opportunities this time:

  • -100 points if the GalacticCap is somehow used on a tentacle
  • -10 and 20+ the receiver per AO3 comment but only the first 5 count and they must be thoughtful comments (one word or random things won’t count)
  • slip a dick/vagina/asshole into your banner promo somehow and you’ll get -points per promo: -5 for obvious, -10 for camouflaged, -15 if it’s a subtle pattern like a background, -20 points for one so well hidden you have to draw a red circle around it for the mods to see it (but it has to actually be there!)
  • -10 per podfic if you somehow subtly sneak in the words (or what sounds like) dick pic

Oh and just because Maya is evil if we think you didn’t read the fic and you’re commenting, kudosing, and promoing anyway, you’ll get +1000 points, so be sure to read!!
