Hahaha! I was wondering if anyone reads my tags. But honestly, this one is canon. Like so canon it hurts. If you can’t see Dean just doing something crazy, Sam giving a paltry “no, Dean, don’t do that” before running after him to do the crazy thing and Cas rolling his eyes because now he’s gotta make sure these two goobers aren’t gonna get themselves killed… well I don’t think we’ve been watching the same show tbh.
My entry for @rosemoonweaver ‘s Fic-O-Ween Celebration challenge!
The prompt I chose was: 10) There are always risks involved when
calling on magical beings. Character A knows the risks, but this is
important. They’ve run out of options and there’s no going back. Too bad
they didn’t notice the typo in their incantation and they’ve summoned a
much more powerful being than they thought and they aren’t interested
in playing around.
Title: Mutilation is the Most Sincere Form of Flattery Pairing: Sastiel rating: Explicit AO3: Link HERE
Summary:
Castiel doesn’t believe in magic. He thinks that the ‘spells’ his friend
Max does are simply elaborate prayers. That is until one night he tries
out one of these spells while drunk and accidentally summons a demon.
Afraid for his life, Cas strikes up a deal that will change his world
forever.
22. Character A comes home to their partner after a long day at work. Then they get a phonecall from their partners phone, despite the fact their partner is right there in the other room, making a lot of noise. When character A answers their phone their frantic partner is on the other end of the line, telling them to run.

Castiel is bequeathed a beach house near the Maine town of Perran. It’s the perfect location for him to work on his next novel, and so Castiel moves out there.
What he doesn’t expect is for his past to catch up with him.
I love Benny. He’s a cuddly vampire with a good heart and a wonderful smile and it’s a shame he didn’t get to stick around longer. Here are a few reasons to love and appreciate Benny.
Benny was a vampire but he wasn’t interested in hurting anyone. He even went so far as to drink donate blood rather than attack people for sustenance.
He was a pirate when he was alive. Not a Golden Age of Piracy pirate (unfortunately) but a pirate nonetheless.
He spent some time working for his great-granddaughter in her diner. He killed a hunter to save her life.
He fell in love with a human and unfortunately had to find out that she had been turned into a vampire and was willing to continue hunting humans. She died in front of him.
He was never really able to fit in again after his return from Purgatory and that’s a shame.
He was actually a good person.
He saved Castiel’s life in Purgatory even though moments before he argued that Castiel probably wouldn’t make it through the portal and should be left behind. He relents, giving in to Dean’s judgment and saves Cas even though he didn’t have to.
Benny died so Sam would be able to find the way out of Purgatory and stayed behind because he didn’t feel he belonged among the living.
The last we see of Benny is a fight he has with vampires. We don’t know if he won or lost.
He has an awesome hat.
His tearful goodbye with Dean is sad and terrible and also great.
His southern drawl is fun. We haven’t had many characters (who aren’t some manner of British) with noticeable accents.
Numerous innuendos can be made about how he was carried by Dean out of Purgatory.
Benny was an all around good dude who, much to my surprise, did not turn out to be a bad guy and given the Winchester’s history with monster allies up to that point, it was great to see. He was like a big, cuddly vampire teddy bear who was still willing to kick ass when needed.
I had a Mafia AU idea today while I was driving to the movies. Driving, man. Always puts new ideas in my head.
Cain is the head of a big crime organization and Dean is his kept boy. And everyone is scared shitless of Cain, but Dean adores him. Not just because Cain found him at his lowest point in life and gave him everything he could ever want, but because Cain truly treats him well, and Dean loves him. And Cain loves Dean too, which is why he’s in constant danger. So Cain hires Castiel, who is known as one of the most ruthless assassins in Cain’s organization, as Dean’s bodyguard.
Castiel is mostly silent, and completely professional. Dean is always teasing him, trying to get him to crack a smile, or loosen up. But he never does. Dean likes him anyway. H tells people Castiel is his friend, which no one believes because who the fuck would want to be friends with such a terrifying psychopath.
All that danger comes to a head when someone lower on the power rung within Cain’s organization decides they want to take over for themselves. Cain is killed, and the new leader wants to destroy anyone who was loyal to him, including Dean.
But Dean isn’t the spoiled and useless sex toy everyone thinks he is. He grew up on the streets, a scrappy little fucker. And he doesn’t spend all his time lounging around eating bon bons and waiting for Cain to fuck him as most people believe. He’s been training with Castiel and honing his fighting skills. And it’s the only thing that keeps him alive. Because the assassins came for Cain while he was in bed with Dean, and Dean manages to escape.
In the chaos Castiel snatches him, and helps him get out of the building, and they have to be on the run. Dean wants to know why Castiel is helping him, since the other contracted killers working for Cain all turned on him. But Castiel’s loyalty isn’t bought, it’s earned, and Dean is His Charge™.
Anywho, Castiel is there to protect Dean and to comfort him as he mourns Cain. He helps Dean go into hiding, and they decide to settle down as a fake married couple (hell yeah, I fit fake relationship into this story, duh lol). They move close to Sam who has been kept secret from everyone as part of Cain’s contract with Dean, so he’s safe but Dean wants to keep an eye on him just in case. And they basically have to learn to live like a normal suburban gay couple, something neither of them have any experience with. Castiel has been in the mafia his whole life, and started killing when he hit puberty. Dean was a homeless orphan who supported himself and Sammy by stealing and hooking. And neither one of them knows how to play house.
Domestic hijinks ensue including nearly burning the house twice as they try to learn how to cook, Dean stopping Castiel from pulling a gun every time their nosy neighbor tries to talk to him over the hedge, having to bury the body of a hitman in their back yard and telling the neighbors they’re digging up a plot to plant a garden, actually trying to plant a garden, barbecue parties, adopting a puppy, and oh yeah, falling in love along the way despite the fact that Castiel is weird about emotions and Dean’s heart is still on the mend.
Every time another hitman finds them, they manage to protect themselves, but the mafia dude who took over from Cain decides to send a large force. Which turns into a huge pile of bodies in their backyard, and finally Dean’s like siiiiigh, maybe we should go to the FBI and spill our guts.
So they do, and they end up bringing down what’s left of Cain’s legacy. And then with their shiny new immunity granted by the government, they live happily ever after.
