Dean/Victor is glorious and underappreciated.

I have a fascination with mick/dean but haven’t found any mick/dean fics (its on my writing list)

Michael/dean I adore and I notice a few more are starting to write that

Debriel popularity has slipped but I still loves it

Cas/Balthazar is surprisingly fun

But then I think about dean/Balthazar and if that would work.

And speaking of Balthazar, I’m writing a fic where Sam/Balthazar is a minor pairing

Pamela/dean (you could even throw Sam in there and its still a rare ship)

Tbh most het ships are rare, but I also have a soft spot for Sam/Sarah blake

Oh some good ones here! Would love to read more Michael/Dean as well as Dean/Victor.

Two of my favorites: Dean/Cain (especially when there is a sub/dom relationship), and Sam/Brady (the Stanford years).

And I think I’m the only Cain/Ramiel shipper in existence.

OMG Dean/Cain. Give me all the Dean/Cain D/s relationships! I’d love to see a fic where Dean’s a younger sub and Cain is his older Dom and also mentor. That’s definitely something I’m about.

Sam/Brady makes me so sad. I can’t help but think of it as a bittersweet ship even in an AU b/c of what happened to Brady 😦 But sometimes I want that.

Please tell me more about Cain/Ramiel. I’m intrigued.

Dean/Victor is one of my favorites for sure. Totally underappreciated.

I’m also really super into Dean/Michael recently. I have an idea for a longer fic but I just don’t have time this year. Still, I’d like to explore it a little.

Calthazar is one of my favorite ships. I seriously love it, and I do have something in mind of December (b/c Calthazar for Christmas has to be a tradition of mine). I think Dean and Balth could eventually get along but they’d probably snip at each other a lot. Sam though, I think they’d get along much better. I’m actually really intrigued by Sam/Cas/Balthazar tbh.

I love Sam/Sarah. When I get around to it I have a longer fic I want to do that has that as the main ship, too.

I recently read a fic with a John/Crowley side pairing and it’s wonderful. Also, Kevin paired with Balthazar might be interesting…

John/Crowley could really be interesting. I’m honestly intrigued as to how that dynamic was handled because it never would have pinged by radar. I’d like to see how the fic did it tbh because it seems very odd to me. (No hate, it’s just not something I ever would have considered!)

Kevin/Balthazar seems like it has all kinds of potential to get kinda wild, I think. I think it might be interesting to see Kevin later in his life, after he was living in the bunker and loosened up a little, interact with Balthazar. I’d be so fascinated by whatever they chose to say to each other. That could certainly get interesting.

I’m personally a huge fan of Sam/Benny, like their personalities are just hella compatible.

Sam/Benny! Yes! Now there’s a ship that’s really underappreciated!

I feel like not only to Sam and Benny have similar personalities (which is part of the reason I think they didn’t get along tbh) they also have similar struggles. I mean, think about it – Sam and Benny had/have an issue with blood drinking. They’re both “addicted” to it for lack of a better term and I think they could really bond over that. In an AU it might be neat to see them bonding over their recovery from addictions.

But Sam and Benny are both pretty gentle and self-sacrificing but they’re still willing to fight. They’re characters I’d love to see really get along and learn more about each other for sure.

Fave het ships: Megstiel, Dean/Abaddon, and Dean/Claire or Sam/Claire. Claire with either of the boys is definitely the most underappreciated though. I could see it working so fucking well for angst and guilt. Dean/Abaddon is dark and deliciously fucked up. Megstiel is pretty versitle imo although I admit I have no time for proxy fics where Megstiel isn’t the final pairing.

Sam/Claire and Dean/Claire totally have the potential to be angst factories. If you’re into age gaps I think there’s a lot there to work with, especially when taking into account Claire’s issues with trust. I think those could be a lot of fun to work with.

Abaddean. Oh, Abaddean how I love you. Like, I adore the idea of Demon!Dean and Abaddon just totally ruining everything and making life terrible for everyone b/c that’s a dark timeline I wish was explored more. It would be such wicked fun. BUT I also kinda like the idea of an AU where Abaddon is kind of a shark you know? Like if she were a high powered prosecutor or senator or CEO and Dean were her husband who everyone assumed as just a pretty face but was actually just as clever and slippery as she was.

Megstiel. I cry. Totally a versatile ship. You could do enemies to lovers, childhood bffs, friends with benefits, fluff, darkfic, basically anything you could ever want. It really saddens me that so much of megstiel winds up as proxy fic b/c they’re so much fun together and the ship needs more love.

I think Sam and Balthazar would make a good pairing

I haven’t thought about this ship nearly enough to be honest, but I really like the idea of it.

I think Sam would be able to see through some of Balthazar’s prickly exterior and they’d find they have more in common than they would have thought. Sam always has faith in the ability of people (and non-humans) to do the right thing and I think Balthazar has lost a little of that but Sam could probably help him see that there are things to believe in. I think Sam could play off Balthazar in a fun way, too. Balthazar tends to be sarcastic, but Sam can be just as snarky sometimes and I think it might catch Balth off guard sometimes.

See, this is difficult because there’s so many??? Let’s start off with winjimstiel though. There’s like… 21 fics on ao3. The first winjimstiel fic was posted in January of 2016, I believe. I have hope it’ll pick up speed but it’s happening so slowly cries

There are only 21 winjimstiel fics on ao3? That’s a freaking tragedy. We need to get that number up higher because holy wow does this ship have potential.

I wanna see more of it but I especially like the idea of partner swapping with this ship, whether it be accidental or on purpose. Like, maybe Sam and Cas have to go do a thing and Cas gets sick so Jimmy shows up in his place and Sam’s really worried it’ll mess with Cas’s reputation but everyone loves Jimmy (because of course they would). And maybe Dean has to nurse Cas back to health and poor Cas pukes on him or something.

OOOOH! OH! Maybe they’re all rival spies and Cas and Jimmy swap to get information from Sam and Dean. Kinda like a Mr. and Mrs. Smith au!
