omg but this sounds SO good seriously!!!

Right? One of my favorite things is AUs where everything is the same except for this one, tiny little difference (like vampires are totally a thing and everyone knowing about it) because it’s a fun game to go backwards and figure out how human society would be the same and different and how people would actually deal with it.

Oh, really? Okay, now I’m curious. What trope were/thing were you thinking about? 

Or was it just a general acknowledgment and sort of irritating realization that you’re aware of yourself and your own desires for things?
