Hmmmm. Dreamhunter Roller Derby AU

Claire and Kaia are rivals on opposing derby teams, but more than that, Kaia is convinced Claire hates her guts. She’s so damn aggressive on the rink, constantly seeking Kaia out, even when her team mates are definitely more of a threat. However, when Claire finally pushes too far and causes an accident that leaves Kaia with a broken ankle, she makes it her mission to look after Kaia and aid her recovery. Kaia finds that there’s more than meets the eye to this messy, angry person she’s forged a rivalry with, and maybe, just maybe, they don’t have to be enemies anymore. 

Send me a title, I’ll tell you what I’d write!

I admit non-mutual-ness makes me not talk to certain people that I follow. I won’t *unfollow* them for not following me but it’s difficult to open a dialogue with someone I think probably doesn’t care about me or know who I am. But then I remember I love getting comments, asks, all that shit even if I’m not mutuals with the person and feel silly.

I definitely understand that. Especially because I have even mutuals who I worry about interacting with because I feel like maybe they followed by mistake and if I say something they’ll run off or something.

Some people don’t look through common tags, no. So, yeah. I freak people out pretty often. Which is fine! But I do think it’s curious that people who don’t like certain things don’t make a bigger effort to stay away from it.

^ stay away from it in the first place, that is. Technically they are by unfollowing.

*shrugs* I mean, I guess I’d rather people leave when they don’t like something than stick around and make themselves miserable. Still. Idk. It’s different I suppose. Maybe they just don’t think about it at the time? I know that’s happened to me before.

Just because it’s not new doesn’t mean it can’t be a reason. I lose followers all the time from either 1) wincest 2) sastiel or 3) personal posts. None of these things are new but they are what drives my followers away the fastest

Oh oh!! There’s another option: some people unfollow if you haven’t followed them after X amount of weeks or months.

I guess people don’t look through the common tags blogs use? Or scroll through the blog? That’s odd if they don’t but… eh. 

Also it could be the non-mutual-ness thing. That’s possible.
