I think you’ve got enough on your plate that you should focus on the first three things tbh – although omg the serial killer au is gonna be amazeballs

Oh, totally. But after I get at least the last two finished I can do it maybe.

I just found my notes and had to whine.

I dunno if it’s an unpopular opinion but… I’m not too fond of the “dick of death” jokes in reference to Sam. It feels a little callus? Like… These deaths have had a traumatic effect on him and it just rubs me the wrong way when people laugh about it sometimes. (Some days I handle it better than others)

It does seem kinda callous to make it into a joke. Like, it’s not really that funny. It’s bad writing and it’s pretty fucked up that Sam can’t seem to have a decent relationship with anyone he sleeps with because they die. I don’t particularly like the way it’s joked about either. Like, why is it even a thing?

Unpopular opinion: every member of Team Free Will is valid and needed on SPN. I love all of them and can’t fathom what it would be like NOT to.

Can you imagine how boring it would be to have just two characters on a show like this after how many years of building up a cast? I don’t want Dean and Cas without Sam, I don’t want Sam and Cas without Dean and I don’t want Sam and Dean without Cas. That sounds the opposite of a good idea.

Also, there’s a reason trios tend to work really well in terms of character dynamics….just sayin’.

OMG yes!! DUDE. Seriously. People really need to stay off rare ship posts with their “platonic besties” bullcrap. Make your own post, please. Let those who ship that thing squee about it in peace. Especially when they start that “I don’t see how you can ship this” thing. Like. I didn’t realize I needed to come up with an essay for why it’s okay for me to ship a rare pair you don’t like??

There’s a weird vein of fandom that insists that we have a “reason” to ship some things. Like, hell, I dunno, I ship ‘em ’cause I can. Goober A has a nice face and Goober B has a bad attitude, that’s enough for me. I enjoy character dynamics.
And like the whole “I don’t ship this but…” “I don’t see it but…” like, I didn’t ask? Also, I don’t get why it’s relevant. Are people gonna get mad because you might ship the thing? Well then screw ’em.

Plus, if people can’t handle that I’m a multishipper chances are we aren’t gonna be close anyway? Like, I’ll talk to anyone who’s friendly, but I’ve certainly noticed that the people I’m closest to are multishippers and so sometimes it’s a little jarring when I come across people who aren’t?

Honestly, yeah. Like, I don’t care, we can reblog each other’s stuff but if we can’t be friends that’s okay pretty much. I don’t mind if people are only following me for destiel but I’m a multishipper at heart so if they get bent out of shape for the not-destiel well.. sorry? I guess? You don’t gotta ship it with me either, I pretty much don’t care as long as you’re cool and don’t demand explinations or “reasons” or whatever.
You know what’s really jarring though? The people who are no only like “I only ship these two goobers” but the ones who are like “I only ship these two goobers and I don’t see how you ship goober A and goober Z. I see them as a friendship and I can’t see it as anything else” and I’m like… really? Not even a little bit? Not even if they were space vampires?
Like, a few come to mind but I can be like “LOOK AT THIS SCENE! LOOK AT THEIR FACES!!! KISS, GOOBERS” and other people are like…. “platonic besties :)” and I’m like…. “how???”

There’s been times when I’ve thought of creating separate blogs for rare pairs and destiel but like… Ughhhh. I don’t know. I’ve gone through so many years with the same blog I guess I don’t see the point??? Like, I see what my other friends end up doing with multiple blogs and it doesn’t look all that appealing, I dunno.

In my own experience it can be a pain in the ass because rare pairs don’t have a whole load of content. The bonus is that rare pair follower do tend to be more engaged and involved. No, typically, you can post whatever you want and people aren’t going to get huffy, typically. I think if you have the energy for it it’s not a bad idea. It’s just work sometimes.

YES. Omg so much yes about posting the “wrong” ship!! There’s totally an audience for rare pairs but in the process you can lose a lot of followers.

Yup. Like, the thing that’s super annoying is that I’m sure there are people who want to read rare pairs or might like they if they gave the ship a chance but posting here does have the potential to lose me some followers which I kinda hate.
