The main pairing getting split up isn’t boring so much as it might concern people and be like “wtf is happening????” but that’s not necessarily a bad thing

True. I mean, there’s a reason for it. And two people in a cave staring at the wall for however many chapters seems way more boring to me, but who knows? People might not like that I have other characters to introduce and conflicts with Dean and his family, conflicts with Sam and who he is and his… special place… in the dragon society but ya know if people have that much of a problem with it and don’t want to read it then that’s their loss. The story has to happen, ya know?

What’s your opinion on The Dragon’s Keep?

Funny you mention The Dragon’s Keep, because I was just thinking about it and how I would really like to finish the chapter I was working on and post.

I really feel bad about taking so long to update it, but I actually really like the idea of the fic. I’ve got a good amount of the conflict that’s going to happen in the fic figured out and I’m pretty excited about getting to the point that in introduce Dean’s family and where he comes from. I just hope that it’s not too boring b/c the main pairing is going to be split up for a pretty large chunk of time over the course of the fic. But it should be good (hopefully) and I’m excited to be writing this fantasy AU.

Ask me my honest opinion of a fic I’ve written!

@samanddeaninpanties replied to your post “Me, a few months ago: I can do this bang! No problems! I’ll just go…”

Mini bangs aren’t as easy as they look. You gotta give up things you love (hella chatty characters, introducing people we never get to see, adding in sub plots, etc) in order to make it work.

I think mini bangs need to be like slice of life things for me, I guess. I’m over here developing relationships and giving backstory and dealing with character’s emotional trauma like I personally would be able to do all that in 10k words. *shakes head at self* Oh well.

*gets my butt down there and steals yours* 😛

Hahahaha! There really isn’t a need to steal them. They’re everywhere. I mean, literally everywhere. No self-respecting Mexican restaurant down here is without them and there’s even a local chain of restaurants that specializes in them. I’d say you’ll get sick of them but that’s actually not possible.
