I recently reached 500 followers and I decided I might as well do a writing challenge. This time, you get to do a little writing! And, since my favorite holiday is just around the corner all prompts have a Halloween twist.
This is how it’s going to work.

Send me an ask telling me what number you want, if you’re writing gen or ship fic and which ship you’re writing for. Polyships are absolutely allowed. Genfic is also allowed.
You have until September 30th to claim a prompt.
Write the fic. Post by October 31st, 2017. If you need extra time, please let me know.

Those of you interested in jimstiel and dcj might want to take a look at #6 and 9. #13 and 9 are also fairly suited to wincestiel. And #3 totally isn’t prime for some salty vampire!dean. Not at all.
I’m kinda playing it by ear at the moment. I’m kind of limiting the number of people to a prompt to two because that’s pretty typical of challenges and I’m not sure what the interest level will wind up being. I don’t mind seeing the same prompt written with different ships/genres/by different authors. I think it’s kinda fun. I haven’t run into that issue yet, though.
There hasn’t been a ton of interest in it yet but I wouldn’t have a problem if you or anyone else did two fics, just as long as whoever does want to do two finishes and posts one prompt before trying telling me they want another one.
And, if by some strange miracle I wound up with 40 people doing the challenge with all the prompts claimed twice and more people who want to do the challenge, I’ll just let them pick whatever they want. It’s not a competition, really. It’s a celebration of fic.
