Not even yes, but hell yes. It’s probably my favorite trope.

Okay, I think this one is kinda funny. Like, suddenly someone gets the warm and fuzzys for another person b/c they’re just so good at oral? I’d be down for it. (No pun intended.)

I’m not a super big fan of this one. Unrequited love at first sight, sure, but if they’re both super into each other all of the sudden… nah.

Any time, any day.

Always love a good “omg, they were roommates!” fic! Especially with added pining.
Look, I’m not saying that Adam and Keanu are the same kind of immortal being and that we should all probably be thankful they’ve used their power to act (when they choose to make public appearances) and that they’re mostly benevolent (because who knows what kind of hidden knowledge/power they posses after living so long), I’m just saying I can’t rule it out. I’m also not saying they meet up with other immortals every 300 years to catch up on what everyone has been doing, I’m just saying Keanu probably brings the lemon squares.
11) what aspect of your writing do you think has most improved since you started writing?
I’m honestly not sure. I’ve always been writing so I guess everything?
I will say though, that since I got into writing fan fiction I’ve gotten better at getting inside the heads of characters. I think I’ve gotten better at writing and creating the world through their eyes and showing that to my readers, which is good because I think that’s one way to develop characterization that’s not always talked about and it can be really useful.
16) are there any characters who haunt you?
So, I answered this but I think I should elaborate, I guess. I have two “types” but there’s a lot of overlap between the kinds of characters that run around in my head and encourage me to write stuff. They’re either unappologetically promiscuous, secretly insecure jokers with big hearts and an abundance of sass or they’re aesthetic assholes who’ve probably killed a bunch of people but hide a deep inner sadness and desperately crave affection. Those are the kinds of characters that keep me up at night.
Thanks!
16) are there any characters who haunt you?
Oh, yes, frequently. Whenever I get really interested in a new AU (whether it’s my own or someone else’s) there’s always at least one character who I just want to spend time with. Like I just want to get inside their heads and see how things are working and what they’re thinking. And basically anyone who qualifies as one of my favorite characters will haunt me.
21) what do you think when you read over your older work?
Honestly, I’m usually pretty okay with it. Sure, I see things that I could do better or things I wish I could change but for the most part I have good feelings about my old stuff. I wouldn’t be the writer I am now if I wasn’t the writer I was then so I don’t think there’s any point in beating myself up for learning and growing.
Thanks!
1) is there a story you’re holding off on writing for some reason?
Oh boy, is there ever. Currently I have like three fics I’d love to write but I have to finish what I’ve already started first. They’re a different fandom, too, so that’s making me a wee bit nervous. Two of them are currently outlined, though, so I’m hoping that satisfies me for a while.
20) do you write in long sit-down sessions or in little spurts?
I try to do both. On days that I’m on fire I can sit down for a few hours and just write. Usually I’ll forget to eat when I do that. Recently I’ve been doing more of the short spurt things which is a little frustrating.
22) are there any subjects that make you uncomfortable to write?
You know, I’m not sure. I’ve never really tried writing some things that I think might make me uncomfortable, like abuse from the pov of the abuser, so I’m not sure.
When I was writing Angel Lust I was a little… I was more surprised at how not uncomfortable I was while writing it. I expected to me more squirmy with my own writing but I just kind of got into a different mindset, you know? It was outside myself, if that makes sense, so I was more shocked that I was able to do it. I don’t know for sure if that’s something I could do with other topics or not, though.
Thanks!
It’s a weekend packed with all kinds of activities. First, I get up at 6 am and take a walk in the dog park, barefoot. Then I find children who I can steal candy from. Then I hang out in the most crowded mall I can find and listen to ever sales pitch the people at the kiosks try to sell me on. Then later I invite everyone over for a raging party and we get completely snockered. On Sunday I wake up and go to church. Then I got on a hike up the nearest mountain and hope that it’s rattlesnake season.
