Home or Something Like It is my Deanjimstiel A/B/O wip currently on Ao3! It will be updated (possibly even with the last three chapters all at once) soon. (I am just super not used to writing so much smut in one fic and it’s rough.) 

It’s a porn-is-the-plot fic in which Dean, an omega, moves into suite-style dorms at college and meets twins Jimmy, a strangely territorial omega, and Castiel, an oddly passive alpha. The PoV alternates between the three and their varying levels of awareness about what’s going on and why they’re so interested in each other. And yes, they boink like bunnies.

I’m subscribed to you but I had a rough few months and took a hiatus from like everything including reading fic. Now that I’m slowly getting back to reading and writing I’m definitely interested! Although I haven’t seen the new Star wars movies yet so am not ready for those

I hope your hiatus helped. It sucks when life gets hard but I really do hope that it’s better now. 

Also, the new movies aren’t for everyone. If you’re not interested or don’t actually like them when you do see them I won’t be upset at all if you skip those fics. I’m still writing for SPN and probably always will be lol. Next year I’ll write another Dean/Cas only fic lol. I haven’t done that in forever. 

Hello! Are there any prompts totally taken for your fic-o-ween challenge? I still haven’t chosen because they all sound great so if there are any that are gone that would help me narrow it down. haha

Hi! I’m trying to keep the prompts down to two people per one. As of now only #2 and #16 have two people writing for them. 

Of the remaining, #3, 4, 11, 12, 13, 18, and 19 have one person writing for them. 

#1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 17, and 20 are completely unclaimed.

I’m partial to samxjody. I think he’d really dig her whole mama bear thing. You’re right though it’s really rare to find him in other mlm ships. I like him with Kevin and Id read him with Garth or Jimmy or even Jesse and Cesar, hubba hubba threesome

Ooh trying to avoid Sabriel must be a drag sometimes. For a time it seemed like every destiel fic I read had it as a side pairing

Mostly, I just ignore it or scroll past the Sabriel parts. But I have found a few fics where Sam is shipped with different people, like Jo, Eileen, Jess, who are alright by me. There does seem to be a lack of Sam/Dudes I Personally Like but I hope to try to fix that with people like Max and Jimmy and Kevin. 

This wasn’t exactly one of the questions listed but it’s close. Do you even have any NOTPs? Are they any ships you really dislike?

I actually do, believe it or not! It’s not that I’m 100% against them all the time forever, it’s just that I don’t like them and would prefer not to see them. They are: 
Dean/Eileen
Sam/Gabriel
Lucifer/Anyone 
Dean/Bela (with the exception of hate sex. Hate sex is fine.)
Cas/Benny

And I think… that’s mostly it… I’m probably missing something lol. I just don’t think too much about the ships I don’t really ship.

I’ll answer these all at once cause they’re on the same vein.
@unforth-ninawaters I use mine for two things. 1) to mark posts I want to go back to later and 2) to tell someone else that I see and acknowledge their post (if I have nothing good to say). I like a lot of personal posts and tag games when I don’t have anything clever or nice to respond with or not enough spoons to do either.
@deaneatscake It ties into the above answer. I have 4 blogs and sometimes I don’t feel like reading a fic or queuing a post so I’ll like it and get back to it later. I don’t like having things left in there that I wanted to reblog but didn’t feel like reblogging right that moment. Esp if I’ve been tagged in stuff. Also it feels cluttered and that’s not fun either.
@robotsnchicks If you have xkit you can add their search likes feature. Then you can search for keywords in the posts you want to look at. I usually look for my url for tag games, certains ships or characters, or friends urls. It’s not perfect but it helps.

18 and 19!

18) were there any works you read that affected you so much that it influenced your writing style? what were they?
I try to not let fic influence my writing style but I know it has. I can’t say for sure which fics have really pushed me into certain tropes or styles more than others, but I think after reading so much of it I have definitely picked up ways of doing things. I can’t name any specific fics but I’m pretty sure comparisons can be drawn. (If anyone does have comparisons, I’d be happy to hear them, though.) 

19) when it comes to more complicated narratives, how do you keep track of outlines, characters, development, timeline, ect.?
I don’t think I’ve written anything really complicated but for me, I think keeping bullet point notes is easiest. Once I know where I’m going/what I’m doing, I divide the work into chapters, then bullet what I want for each chapter. I like to let characters develop as they go though, so I don’t really worry too much about that. I’m very much a “go with the flow” writer so I don’t try to outline very much. It overwhelms me and takes the fun out of it.
