I know I’m with like 90% of the fandom on this but I’m so super weak for Ben braiding Rey’s hair. I like to think that he knows at least a good number of traditional Alderaanian hairstyles and would help her do them because keeping tradition alive is important to him and showing that she belongs somewhere and to a people is important to her. I really can’t get enough of it.
There’s a little story behind the idea of this reylo-interpretation.
Kylo Ren aka Ben Solo is a Russian Borzoi (this breed is also called the Russian wolfhound). Russian Borzois are royalties: French wiki says they are kinda aristocrats among other dog breeds. On their native language “borzoi” means “hot-tempered, cocky, swift”. Those dogs are fast, dangerous, but very soft with someone they respect and are devoted to. All this clung to a thought I couldn’t banish off my mind: I kept seeing Kylo as a borzoi. Kylo is partly a royalty himself

Rey is a Saluki. This breed is also known as the “Persian Greyhound”. Saluki were born in cruel desert sands, and I found it symbolyc. They are stubborn, distrustful and cautious, skinny, fast, graceful, and it would be wrong not to mention they’re perfect hunters.
So, I have a royal insolent dog paired with a wild untamed one? I can’t think of a better match for my favourite ship. This sounds absolutely like reylo to me.
12) Jewelry headcanon Rey isn’t one for jewelry. She thinks it’s pretty, but she’s terrified of wearing it, forgetting about it, and getting it caught on engine parts. As such, she’ll only wear fancy ribbons or chains in her hair, and only to places she knows she’s not going to need to be practical, which is to say not very often.
Ben is a different story. He never, ever takes off his wedding ring and if that whole inherited governorship of a planet thing comes to pass, he’s not going to pass up a crown.
15) Singing headcanon Rey sings to herself very, very quietly. Most of the time she just hums but occasionally, when she thinks no one is paying attention she’ll actually sing. Ben likes to listen, and even encourage her a bit with a few the the lullabies Leia used to sing to him as a child (they’re really the only songs he can remember at this point). Neither of them ever get to the point where they’re singing a long to whatever music is playing, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t music in their household. Like everything else about the two of them together, it’s quiet, understated, and intimate.
