but deanvictor is so good

Agreed. There should be more Dean/Victor.

Oh, I suppose I should mention they’re two separate things then. The Dean/Victor is it’s own fic that will show up as soon as I finish it and post to ao3.

hi. so, i haven’t writing for a while, and i really wanna get back to writing destiel so i was wondering if you (maybe some of your followers) have some prompts lying around, or sth that i could start out with? i haven’t written in so long, and i just wanna start with some ficlets, sth short so i can stretch my muscles first, but idk where to start, and it seems like your brain is always running. mind you, i haven’t watched s12 yet, so i can’t really do anything from that. thank you so much! ily

Sure! I don’t really have any prompts lying around but here are some things I’ve been thinking about in regards to Destiel. They might be fun to play with.

  • Cas and Dean sparring and Cas knocking Dean flat on his butt
  • Spa Day!
  • Cas, Dean, Sam, and Charlie playing drinking games to any TV show of your choice
  • Dean getting really fussy because Cas is living in the bunker and he leaves his socks E V E R Y W H E R E
  • Can’t go wrong with wing grooming
  • bodyswap spell!
  • anti-truth spell but it only affects Cas this time

And followers, if you have any ideas, feel free to reply with them!

well, i never meant that he wasn’t special. sorry i didn’t phrase that right. he was special because he was devout, and he really believed; not just in the “i am a christian so i say i believe in these things” kind of way, but truly in his heart believed. but as a human, in his community, he was the nice man, with the nice wife, with the nice daughter. like everybody else on the street. idk if that makes sense?

Oh, no worries! I get you. And I absolutely agree. He had things that did make him special but in terms of living an extraordinary life he really didn’t.

the thing with the novaks is that they were set up to be exactly that: the average, all american dream christian family – which was the specific reason jimmy was chosen. because he was nothing special, aside from a good, devout christian. if cas hadn’t come along they had taken claire to soccer games, gone to church every sunday, run the bakesale and had family dinners every night. because they were created to be uneventful.

The only thing I’d argue with you on is that Jimmy was special – he could hear angels. Not even Dean or Sam could hear angels and they were the true vessels of archangels.
But yeah, they were set up to be just your average, all American family and thus kinda boring.
