I’m going to leave the Kylo stuff alone, because other people have addressed it who are more invested in his story, but …
That’s a weird as hell take for her to have on Darth Vader, considering that her Ahsoka book was full of humanizing takes on Anakin right and left.
I mean… every other page was Ahsoka, Anakin’s former Padawan, going on about much she missed him and had loved him.
I’m so confused. If humanizing bad dudes in space wizard fairytales is bad to the extent that you are FURTHERING THE SPREAD OF FASCISM BY SUPPORTING NAZIS … then what the actual fuck was going on in the Ahsoka book, to be honest.
Also. I’m just going to say.
Look. If you have a problem with people writing “fun” stories that humanize Darth Vader, then I judge you for continually making money for writing books set in the goddamn Star Wars universe. Because all arguments about Kylo Ren aside, humanizing Darth Vader has been the goal since day one.
It’s hypocripsy at best and faux performative outrage at worst.
You don’t get to stand in the middle of the Coca Cola plant and complain about the high fructose corn syrup’s contribution to diabetes.

Some tumblr users are attempting to influence the staff by not posting, chatting, logging on, not doing anything, for a whole day. The hope is that it will cause enough of a distrubtion that tumblr will do something about the n@zi blogs on the site. I’m frankly not sure how much a single day worth of not posting is going to accomplish but I’ll support it if there’s a chance it could do something.
