I wanna know what Mary’s realtionship to her mom was like.

I was rewatching old eps a while back w/my mom and the ep where Dean goes back in time and meets his mom was on. I made a comment that Dean was named after his grandmother, not his grandfather, and my mom goes “there’s probably a reason for that”.

Which yeah, she’s right. Most people would name a male child after their father, not use a variation on their mom’s name. So I think it’s safe to say Mary was closer to her mom and yet we know nothing about their relationship, what she thought of John, or basically anything other than her name and relationships to Samuel and Mary.

So, yeah I’d like to know about that.
