Well, I mean yeah if they wanted to just tell an…”

Y’know what I find interesting is that it’s basically known that s6 and s7 were bad. And I almost stopped watching during s7, so I get it because they were my least favorite too. But going back and watching them now, with another 5 seasons after them, I actually find them highly entertaining, and I kind of love them. I think it’s because they’ve had a chance to fix and address some of the things that bothered me. Except Emmanuel’s wife. Still a huge plot hole lol

I haven’t seen season 6 or 7 in over a year I think. I dunno if the time would endear me more to them, though. I’m still mad about a lot of stuff and still pretty confused about how half of the things that happened happened, but I’m glad you can get enjoyment out of them.

Daphne is still like a big ol’ question mark. Like, she finds a naked dude in the woods or something and is like “I guess I’ll take him home and marry him!” but obviously you can’t get married without any ID so like… did she lie? Was it one of those “married in the eyes of God” things? It’s not like Cas as Emmanuel would have known the difference. And then he leaves and never comes back so was she just like “well, you win some you lose some?” So weird.

Actually, you know what, I’m gonna headcanon that Daphne was up to something shady. Maybe he was on the run from the law or something.

lol I didn’t realize this was the story we talked about 🙂

lol. Yup! I would’ve said more about it at the time, but after I decided to use it for the bang I had to keep it pretty hush-hush.

Yes, but Satin and Screwdrivers was @jupiterjames being silly lol. I get what you mean though, I want people to ask me about my stuff too. But I also feel weird and squirmy any time I reblog a writer’s ask post, so I can’t win lol

lol. Nice.
I get what you mean, though. I never used to reblog those posts because I felt it meant that I thought I was some kind of authority or something.

I post things as they occur to me. Like the other day I mentioned that I briefly considered the title Panties and Power Tools instead of Satin and Sawdust 😀 But it’s like once I’m done with a story, I forget all those fun little facts.

Didn’t you also almost name it Satin and Screwdrivers or am I making that up because it sounds dangerous and has the word screw in it?

I still have the things in my head, I just wait for people to ask me about them because I feel like it’s me begging for attention or something, I guess. Which, yeah, it kinda is, but I love it when other authors share their little behind the scenes things. So I guess people are just gonna have to deal with it while I ramble about my writing for the next week. 😛

I think that’s a great idea! I always forget to share these things until well after the fic is finished lol

I think it would be fun to share them after the fics are finished, though. That way you’re not worried about spoiling it for people who haven’t read the whole thing but you can share things from later chapters and talk about when you got that idea or which jokes you were waiting to tell for like months. It’s like a directors cut in a way.

I’m beginning to feel the same way. I read one the other day that I had to keep rechecking the tags because it felt like it was turning into a dcj fic, but it never did and while the fic was wonderful, I was also a little sad lol

Awh. That bites. I think the only thing worse than that would be if a fic started with dcj and then ended with them broken off and paired off differently. That would break my heart.

Mine too! Although Jimmy is still new for me. And now if he’s in the fic I want to write it as DCJ lol

Jimmy is a freaking blast. I love him so much. I actually don’t think I’ve written him in a fic that isn’t DCJ but I could try. Maybe I could pair him with Meg. (Now that would be fun!)

I have the problem of read fics, seeing Jimmy in them, knowing it’s not DCJ and getting disappointed when they’re not DCJ. It’s such an addictive ship.

@ltleflrt
See, usually I’m a huge pantser and I just do whatever but this one required actual thinking.
The last time I did an a/b/o it was funky as hell with all kinds of non-traditional relationships and that was fun. I didn’t think that much about the universe. But I liked what I came up with and decided I might as well stick with it.
This time, however, the fic isn’t for me. It was an auction fic I’ve taken waaay too long to write. But the person I’m writing for asked for something that’s completely unusual and as I’ve been writing it Ive been like “how the hell would this actually work??”. (It’s complicated and I don’t wanna give it away but trust me when I say it’s not something I’ve seen before.) So while I’ve been trying to pull myself out of this stupid funk so I can start writing it again I decided to research and come up with a consistent way I want to write my a/b/o aus.
