Gods, yes.
It’s desperate and it’s terrible but it’s what they both need. They need that connection, that tiny little semblance of normal. It’s always a little too rough and they both wind up with bruises and scratches but it’s as close to comfort as they’re able to have. When everything is lost, at least they have each other, if only for moments at a time.
And Dean hates it. He hates himself and the world and Cas and everyone else, just because life’s not fair and it only ever hets worse. Cas is too drugged up to feel most things and Dean can’t blame him so he mostly ignores it. Still, there’s moments in between where it almost feels okay. Almost. But those moments never last and they’re both lost again.
