It was one of only a handful of clubs that Dean actually enjoyed going to, and that was more to do with the fact that it wasn’t even really a nightclub. It was more of a comedy club/community theater house/drag show venue than anything else.
Sam scoffed in front of him. “You know I can walk by myself, right?” He asked, dragging his feet a little.
“Yeah, but you’re a much better battering ram than I am so, make like Moses and part this sea of people for me, yeah?”
Dean could practically hear Sam’s eye roll. “You could just say excuse me.”
“Or I could use you to make them move.”
Dean continued to steer them forward until they ran into the table they were supposed to sit at. It was Dean’s usual table, one that had been his since he’d started going to drag shows and long before he and Jimmy ever started dating. As usual, there was a small vase holding two red roses sitting in the center of the table. Sam smirked at him.
“Aren’t you supposed to bring him flowers?” Sam asked, taking his seat.
Dean rolled his eyes. “Please. I’ve gotten roses here since before we started dating. And, I told you, in here, you refer to Jimmy as Jemma and it’s she, by the way.”

Jimmy squirmed in his seat, clearing his throat and pointedly ignoring Castiel’s gaze.
“Why not? Can’t imagine you haven’t gotten any offers.” Dean said.
“There have been offers. I just haven’t been interested.”
“Oh,” Dean said, “it’s one of those then.”

I kinda want deancasjimmy with aro!dean and ace!cas, so while cas doesn’t much like to participate when dean and jimmy decide to go another round, he’s perfectly happy to join in afterwards for cuddles
And dean’s not a big fan of cas and jimmy’s soft kisses and touches, so when they get in those moods he’ll go cook everyone some cheeseburgers for when they’re done
And they all love each other a little bit differently but that’s ok cuz they still love each other and it works just fine for them ❤️

Cas has very eclectic musical tastes, much to Dean and Jimmy’s surprise. who is more protective: It depends. They’re all very protective of each other, but Jimmy can be the most frightening when Cas is threatened. Dean is like a volcano; he blows up when Cas or Jimmy are in any perceived danger. Cas is more like a hurricane; he’s fast, loud, and destructive. Jimmy is a blizzard; he’s a cold, slow build until suddenly you’re buried under six feet of shit. who sings in the shower: Jimmy. He’s incredibly loud, too. who cries during movies: Jimmy and Dean. who spends the most while out shopping: It’s Dean. Dean sometimes feels that Cas and Jimmy have a bond he could never hope to match, Jimmy worries that Cas and Dean could easily do without him because they fit so well, and Cas knows Dean and Jimmy have so many of the same interests that he worries he can’t keep up. one headcanon I have: Obviously they have some issues dealing with their relationship. It’s taboo, and that does put them under a lot of stress at times. They actually got into a huge fight when rumors about who Jimmy was sleeping with started to circulate at his work and he nearly broke it off with both Cas and Dean because he let it get inside his head. nicknames: Dean loves nicknames. He calls Cas and Jimmy “babe” and “sweetheart” but Jimmy is often JimJam (Jimmy hates that) and Cas is often Grumpy. Jimmy calls Cas Cassie to mess with him and Dean is “babe”. Cas doesn’t do nicknames, but when he’s irritated with Jimmy he calls him James (which Jimmy also hates). my rating of the ship from 1-10: 11

Like, more power to you for your decision person – you read your fluff and happy endings, no skin off my teeth – but to me?
Fanfic is a happy place but it’s also a form of entertainment and I expect to be entertained, you know? Give me some drama and angst and a hopeful ending (or even a heartbreaking ending or cliffhanger – I just want to be intrigued!).
The only real “traditional” one I wrote was my Sam/Jess/Brady and I used it for RSCC anti-valentine’s day. It was like 1k of dull, boring, tooth rotting fluff that I still dislike because I feel like nothing happened.
If all fic was happy and fluffy I wouldn’t be reading or writing it tbh. I’m 100% with you there. I love a happy ending, but make it worth it. Give me some heartache, some mystery, some danger, just something.
I can only maintain interest in something fluffy for about 1.5k without feeling the need to have something else happen. I think that’s the perfect length for a slice of life fic, which is the perfect place for fluff for me. But I cannot maintain enthusiasm much longer than that.
