Iām totally with you there. Like, the spn creation mythos is really murky at best, but the way I see it, if Lucifer is supposed to be King, the Princes should be special in some way. Knights of hell were the first demons after Lilith and while they were strong they werenāt anything more than just people who were turned demonic. Iām betting that in order to have a title higher than Knight youād have to be something a lot more special than the first child of Eve and Adam. I like the idea that they’re the children of fallen angels, which is usually what nephilim are.Ā

I do know the first time I actually mention the name of Cas’s ship the line is something like “Dean just finally remembered that knowing the name was important” or something like that because I realized “oh shit, I haven’t mentioned the name of the ship yet and that’s important. oops.” so it’s a joke at my expense.
Also, the ship’s name is a double reference, one to Black Bart’s ship and one to a character in the show/fandom who does not appear at all in the fic.
