Well, most of my headcanons are sad. Some are kinda nice or happy, but they make me sad because it’s all sort of bittersweet.

It sounds wild honestly.@samanddeaninpanties
That’s good then! I’m kinda picky w/movies, too so I get it.@samanddeaninpanties
Thank you! It’s more of a fic tbh. It was getting close to 5k and I needed to wrap it up or it was going to be a nightmare.
@samanddeaninpanties
Lol. Well, yeah. One of these days I’ll write a short thing! I swear it! *shakes fits at sky for dramatic effect *

Also, totally off topic, I’m watching Mulholland Drive for the first time. It’s an experience I haven’t figured out if I enjoy or not.
I’ve heard so much about that movie but I’ve never seen it myself.

Ted Bundy style *shivers* yeah, no thanks! And, you know, when I was younger I used to think if strangers heard shit going down they’d help… but, actually, the more people around to witness/hear a crime the LESS likely help will arrive in time. At least that’s the case according to the research I’ve done on the subject. I’m not willing to put my life at risk like that (even though statistically I know you’re more likely to be killed by someone you know than a stranger)
Yeah, there’s no way I’m tempting fate like that.
I totally understand that. Ass o’clock would win out for me, too! Can’t afford always going to coffee shops and being out in the dark is scary
Exactly! Like, I’m not gonna stay out in the dark longer than I need to, especially on a huge, open campus where literally anyone could be hiding behind a tree.

Exactly!!! People are too fucking loud during “normal waking hours”. Of course it leads to people like us taking drastic measures to write. Plus, tbh, I think I’ve always been more creative and active in every part of my life at night? I’m like a goddamn vampire or something.
Oh god, yeah. When I was trying to study it was always a nightmare. I had to either stay at the library on campus (which was fine except in the winter because then it got dark early and there were like, three lights from the library to the shuttle and there was no way in fuck I was gonna stand out in the dark and the cold in the busiest part of down waiting for a bus) or I had to go to a coffee shop (expensive) or wait until ass o’clock. Ass o’clock typically won out.
I’ve heard that 3 am is the time for writers, witches, and vampires, so maybe it’s not too far off. The creative forces of the universe just seem to flow better the stiller the world is.
Right????? I totally look at it that way. If I just say “I need to finish X ficlet before I go to bed” I could finish writing at 6 or 8am and that would count.
lol. It’s terrible and I should sleep like a normal human but… daylight is overrated imo. Plus I get more done before everyone else is awake anyway.
