THE LAST ONE OMFG

Cas writes erotica in fuzzy pj pants and occasionally send Jimmy texts that say things like:

How long do you think it’s possible to edge a 34 year old man before he’s incapable of not coming?

Is this position even physically possible *inserted still of something Jimmy’s sure requires extra equipment”?

So… A/B/O anatomy… is DP possible with two knots or no?

At first Jimmy used it as an opportunity to flirt and suggest they they try as much out as possible but after about six months and several barely met deadlines, he’s kind of desensitized to it. Well… as desensitized as he can be. He’s only human after all.

I agree and the phrase “fandom is eating itself” is a perfect explanation. It sucks but it is something I’ve noticed too. Not sure what to do about it than continue to carefully curate my own online space, I just wish more people would do the same thing

I have a theory that it’s about control. People feel like they have no control in their lives right now, so they’re going to seek out any way they can to gain control because it will make them feel better. And yeah, it does in the short run but it doesn’t help in the long run. The only thing it does is make fandom as a whole a war ground where the drama du jour is always super serious and we lose all sense of perspective. When everything becomes an -ism and everything becomes “bad” or “wrong” or whatever, how are any of us supposed to take real issues with fandom seriously? At this point I really feel like fandom has become a parody of itself. A parody and a battle ground where the small bloggers who just wanna chill out and enjoy themselves get eaten by the big fish who want things their way and their way only.

The only thing I can think of doing is pointing out how bad it is and creating spaces where it’s safer and more positive. We can’t make anyone do anything, but we can be nicer to each other, more courteous, and more supportive.

Second: lol 420”

*flails* You hit 100!!! Why are you only looking at this years stats tho for kudos? 😉

Is it really because of the 420???? Omfg rose lololol *tsks gently at you*

Look, I never claimed to be mature. I saw 420 and I laughed because deep down, I’m still 14. (The actual all years kudos number is a lot higher, but I don’t really wanna post it and seem like bragging.)

But I’m proud of myself! 100 people like my writing enough to get emails about it. That’s really fucking neat.

honestly even at the time I thought it was so insanely juvenile and…obvious…

..this is me realizing we’re not even talking about the same incidence of this in the SPN fandom, that it’s happened more than once, and it is STILL insanely juvenile and obvious.

This has happened more than once? Good grief. Very juvenile.

I know what you’re talking about, and when I saw the post I was like…. Who?

lol. Right? I was like… okay and this is relevant how? It’s so funny to me because like, they didn’t even do anything. They got a bunch of followers but were still completely irrelevant. Like, idk, I’d think if you were committed to pulling the long con you’d try to make friends with people, maybe create some content, actually try to stir shit instead of…. acting like a normal blogger who enjoys what they’re engaging in? Is this some next level trolling I’m too dense to understand?

“Muahahahaha! I joined in on group discussions and reblogged gif sets of things people like! Look at me trolling those icky shippers by engaging in ship content in a polite and respectful way! I got you! I tricked you all! I win!”

Congrats, you really… proved… something???

The fact I have no idea what you’re talking about tells me how impotent they are.

Ha! I mean, basically, right? I had to go looking for this after I heard a little chatter about it on my dash. Needless to say, when I found it it was the first I’d ever heard of any of this.
Which, you know, proves how masterful the trolling really was right?
(I’ll PM you the details.)
