Right? I love his freaking voice! He’s so haunting and sad and I love it. I actually stumbled on to his music last year and one of his songs helped me pull the ending of my dcj bang together. And I totally stole the title of that bang from one of his songs. He’s definitely one of my new faves.

lol yes! The foreplay and the getting naked part is fun to write but then you reach the thrusting bits and it’s like… are we done yet? Can we go to the next scene? There are only so many ways to describe it before it gets repetative. And it’s always 10 times longer than you think it was gonna be.

It’s definitely easier to write in order. I won’t deny that. But if I’m suffering from writers block non-linear writing helps a lot
That’s good! If I’m blocked it usually means I need to quit thinking about it too much and either just do it or walk away.

But also: I feel this so hard. Although, because with longer stuff I don’t write linearly (especially for bangs) it’s parts of the middle I finish last. HATE middles. Those are my downfall and reason I don’t finish a good portion of my unpublished projects
They’re edging me and it’s not even fun 😦
I really don’t know how you manage non-linear writing. It’s sooo hard. I find it easier if I can stack scenes on top of each other, with little things building as I go. I think I’d get so turned around and messed up.
