I’m sorry you’re tired 
that sucks. I’ve just been trying to get myself together lol. Been a little under the weather but other than that I’ve been doing pretty well. I’d ask if your kiddos have been enjoying going to the playground but that seems like a bit of a no-brainer lol.

Star Wars AU fanfic!
One is a finnpoe modern Cinderella type thingy that I’ve got outlined, another is a dark reylo witch/demon fic I’ve been kicking around for a few weeks, and another is the reylo selkie au I took down but still kept and have been considering putting back up.
So yeah, good stuff I just don’t know what I want to spend my time one.Uh oh, why’d you take the one down? Also I need all of this. (Can I read the selkie au? Like if you send it to me maybe? Obviously it’s totally cool if the answer is no :D).
I was having a bad mental health day and kind of… well the good news is that I didn’t do anything to hurt myself physically but I did delete that fic and a few things off tumblr. It wasn’t because I didn’t like the AU or anything, I just kind of got it in my head that I was wasting my time and I started to get paranoid. Like I said, bad mental health day.
@samanddeaninpanties also wants me to put the AU back up and I think I probably will. It’s only the first chapter and the prologue, right now, but I’m obviously not over it so maybe it would be a good idea to stick it back up and see what happens. And maybe this time do a little self-promotion.
But yeah, I can let you read it! If you want I can share the google doc link with you! I’m not sure if I want to put it back up today or this week but I wouldn’t mind if you read it 🙂
And yeah, I need those other two things, too. Which is why I’m so torn, lol.

UG. He’s a hardcore Trump supporter (and if you aren’t, you’re just incapable of real thinking), has told me why Pride is “fucking ridiculous,” makes fun of feminine men, makes a lot of racist jokes and then gets pissed if you tell him the jokes were racist, and refuses to acknowledge other genders/sexualities/basically if it isn’t straight/gay then you’re just looking for attention. I’ve learned how to work with him, but I do fuck with him A LOT and he’s yet to figure out I’m doing it. Like last week, we found out we’re gonna have to start wearing these obnoxiously orange shirts that have “staff” and our shelter logo on them (not all the time, but ug) and I made a joke about seeing how long I could get away with NOT wearing them, and he started freaking out and telling me how he didn’t like it, either, but we just had to do it. So I kept saying, “Nah, not gonna,” and he kept getting madder and madder and finally stormed off. The secretary figured out I was fucking with him like three seconds in and almost passed out trying to keep from laughing until he went away, lolol.
Okay that turned into a ramble whoops.
Yikes on bikes. Honestly fucking with him is the only way I can see staying sane while working with him.

Stranded together fics are delicious. Yes, I could definitely see myself doing something like that. (If I haven’t already. I think I might have already. lol)

I was wondering your views on Kylux. That answers that question, I guess. I had been thinking Kylo/Finn would be interesting, and I love the idea of Phasma/Kylo. I might also, ahem, have had a couple of not so okay thoughts about Luke/Kylo…
Yeah, it’s not even for any real reason, it just doesn’t appeal to me as a ship. Other iterations, like cutthroat rivals, friendly rivals, hell even best friends are fine in my book, I just don’t ship it romantically/sexually.
Finn/Kylo is so interesting to me. The juxtaposition, the potential for AUs to ride that “well we used to know each other but now we don’t and there’s Tension” train into a million different stations (former lovers, business associates, childhood friends, ect)… yeah. I like it. (And it doesn’t hurt that John Boyega is delicious.) And Phasma/Kylo has a lot of potential, imo. There’s not a lot of fic out there for that one and it’s a freaking shame. (Neither of these ships have many fics, actually.)
It’s funny you mention that because I ran across a whole bunch of Luke/Kylo fics the other day when I was browsing through author’s works. They looked a little darker than what I was in the mood for at the time, but they’re out there. I’m curious what you would do if you decided to do a fic like that?

Hehehe. Thank you for giving me the perfect opportunity to rec a fic that is exactly like that. Siren’s Song by DragonWhiskers. It’s delightful in so many ways but also because it’s kind of horrifying. I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to give the ending away but it is… fraught. And of course, everything else the author has written is gold, too.
Just throwing it out there because I think you share my weakness for scary, dark-eyed monster boys.
This prompt was super mean because I couldn’t decide who I wanted to be the siren so I sat here for way too long thinking about it. 😛
Rey’s had this dream so many times it feels like a memory. The waves licking at her ankles as she descends into the water, the dark eyes that pierce her soul and beckon her closer and, above all else, the song, slow and sweet, as mournful as a funeral march and as sultry as a love song. She doesn’t recognize the feel of skin on skin, the scrape of scales against her calves – she doesn’t realize it’s not a dream until her face hits the water.
