Lol. I have.
There was once in a movie theater. A few public bathrooms. Some dudes parked in a parking lot. A walmart once. Walmart was interesting because it sounded like two guys who were having a *lot* of fun and it was loud as hell but I had no idea where the guys actually were. I think they were in the milk stocking area. But no one else really reacted to the loud gay sex obviously going on.
17) if you could give your fledgling author self any advice, what would it be?
Trust your own damn instincts, kid. I used to listen to everyone else when it came to my writing and boy did I suffer for it. I was good but my writing lacked heart and I was always unhappy with it in the end.
23) any obscure life experiences that you feel have helped your writing?
Well, for one, I was a terrible speller as a kid so I had to learn to describe things if I wanted to write stories. My imagination was way ahead of my vocabulary and spelling skills, but it kinda worked out.
Also, I have a strange knack for accidentally wandering into situations where people are having public sex. That’s definitely found it’s way into my writing.

I have two for this one.
One is a crack fic in which Dean is cursed by a witch and has to eat 100% organic foods from then on out. He complains the whole time. Sam thinks it’s hilarious.
The second is a Dean/Benny AU. Benny comes home from the war to find his wife has left him and his home has burnt down. As a last resort, he agrees to work as a farmhand on the Winchester farm. It’s all well and good until he meets Dean, the oldest Winchester boy, who is home for the summer. He tries to keep his infatuation, and later desire for the Winchester boy under wraps, lest he endure the wrath of Dean’s overprotective father and lose the last prospect he has.
honestly? no clue. i just update the main one. while it’s theoretically for other ppl, i find it’s more helpful for me.

Doesn’t xkit have a thing that lets you edit your reblogs so you can add links to the post after people have reblogged it? That’s my main concern
i have had some people ask about dcj in the past, and i’m always happy to answer. but yeah i do the same thing. i read the description, check out their last few posts, and then decide if i want to follow. if someone posts original content i like, that’s great, but they might post a bunch of other things i’m less interested in.
And that makes a lot of sense.
