Support My Writing!

As many of you know, I’m currently unemployed, staying at home to be a mom to my two kids because there is no job I get out of the house that would pay enough to cover daycare. I wrote extensively about our fiscal situation in this post. Since I first asked for help, I have carved out time to write specifically because people are helping us with financial support – the money I receive enables me to write, flat out, direct correlation. So if you want more of my writing? This is the secret.

But unforth, how can I help?

  • Buy my first novel, A Glimmer of Hope. It’s urban fantasy/historical fantasy, first in a trilogy but stand alone (the plot resolves, the other two books are more about the same characters). Romance is m/m. Trigger warnings: off-screen/past rape/non-con, torture, and some other dark themes, but it ends happy, promise. Available on Smashwords and Amazon.

Hey, everybody! Just taking a quick break from celebrating everybody getting their books, because I’ve put together a short survey about what kinds of projects (like this one) you would like to see in the future. I’ve got some ideas of my own for stuff I might try to organize, but I want to get some feedback from you guys first- readers, writers, and backers of Seasons- to get some information on what kinds of things you would like to see (in terms of format, content, etc.).

uhhh so I was just going over atr for some pick-me-up to remind myself that i used to write things and accidentally googled part of ch 1 and long story short i found out someone’s reposted my fic on another website (fanfiction) with a different title??? it’s just the first chapter and it was back in 2016 but i still feel incredibly uncomfortable with this. 

so if people who have enjoyed my writing before or A[ T]ypical Romcom before are reading this, please help me out here and file a quick abuse report here, and I’d be really grateful. 

just scroll to the bottom and underneath the comment box, click on “Actions”, then “Report Abuse”, and select “Not the property of uploading writer”. 

(truth be told i’ve never used fanfiction before so if anyone else a better idea of taking this fic down asap, please let me know)

also. they have few more stories up on their account, but they might all be reposts. I’m not sure. Just bear in mind that they were clever enough to change the title and the summary entirely from the original summary/title.

(also, hey! if you actually want to read atr, it’s right here in its full glory instead of just one chapter. just saying.)

Hello again, are you guys ready for another round of Supernatural Poly Bingo? A lot of you expressed interest in seeing this challenge run another year and I know I’ve been wishy-washy about whether I’d get it running again or not. But with the help of the awesome @mayalaen this challenge will see another year. Maya is going to be a co-mod for the poly bingo and she will help field questions and reblog work created for the challenge. 

Sign-ups will start January 7th and run until February 4th. You can post as soon as you get your card, there is no scoring or competition to this challenge. Tentatively, the challenge will run until August 1st. 

I’ll be adding some new ships and characters to the list, please let me know if you have any suggestions. 

Let’s all welcome Maya as a mod here, she participated in the challenge last year and contributed some excellent pieces. I’m sure a lot of you know her already.
