I have a few of you and I figured I might as well tell you about myself and what this blog is before I do something dumb and lose a bunch again. lol. 

Hi! I’m Rose. I’m 23 (24 in exactly less than 2 months), American, bisexual, aromantic, genderfluid person. I accept she/her and he/him pronouns for myself.

This blog is mostly destiel but also sometimes cockles during hiatus. I’m a multishipper, though, so other ships do sometimes wind up here. I try to keep those on a different blog for the most part. Almost every month I post two different rare ship fics and these ships chance every month. If you would like to see these fics, I’ve posted them here on ao3 (with everything else I write). If you want to be tagged in the things I write, add yourself to my tag list. 

My tagging system is as follows
– anything with Jensen and Misha is tagged “cockles”. Anything with a romantic twist is tagged “romantic cockles”
– anything with Jensen and Jared is tagged “j2″
– anything with Jared and Misha is tagged “mishalecki” 
– anything with the three all together is tagged “j2m” 
– seasons of supernatural are tagged “spn season [number]” (ex. spn season 3)
– specific episodes are tagged “spn [episode number]” (ex. spn 12×12) 
– anything that’s a spoiler is tagged “spn spoilers”
– other ships are tagged with ship names (ex. megstiel) or the two (or three or four or whatever) names squished together. (ex. deanvictor). 
– I try not the be negative about things, but there are certain characters I don’t like. They will be tagged “[character name] negative” (ex. lucifer negative).  
– characters are tagged with their names. the only one who aren’t are Castiel (tagged “cas” and “fluffy winged murder cupcake”) and Chuck (tagged “chuck is god”) 

That’s pretty much it! If you have questions or concerns or comments or whatever, feel free to send me an ask! I’m always down to tag things that you need tagged and I’m pretty friendly!

@hells-keeper I got the ask but I’m a little tired (it’s almost 2 am here) and I’m gonna try to get some writing done so I will come up with fics for those tomorrow. 

If anyone else can send me fake titles, go for it, I just probably won’t answer until tomorrow.

I still have no idea what to do for my 400 follower thing. I guess I could do really super short 500 words or fewer fics? It’s not super special (and the last time I tried that I totally fucked it) but…idk what to do?

I wanna do something fun and interactive though. I wanna get to know you guys and mess around. I just have no idea how to do that or to reach out to some of my shyer followers.

What is that writing challenge? I’ve seen a few people do those before but I’ve never seen the Disney one. Maybe I could do that for a bigger number though.

Tags vs. Search

The first 5 tags!

  • The first 5 tags are your best bet! 
  • Only the first 5 tags show up in tracked tags. Tracked tags are more reliable than search if you want your content to be seen and / or reblogged.
  • Put the important tags (ex. show name, actor name, artist name) in the first 5 tags.
  • Only the first 20 tags show up in search.
  • Only the first 20 tags will cause the post to show up in the tag on your blog
    (i.e. asoiafuniversity.tumblr.com/tagged/resources)
  • So start with the important tags for tracked tags / search, then add tags like “my edits” or “mine” for your own blog organization, and then add FEELINGS and TAG COMMENTARY at the end. 
  • Only new posts will show up in public tracked tags or search. Reblogs will not show up in tracked tags or search.
  • Avoid unnecessary punctuation. Apostrophes ’ are ok to use, but tags with a slash / or a hyphen – or a plus sign + or an equal sign = will NOT show up in tracked tags.

Tagging Etiquette

  • Don’t tag your hate; it’s considered rude
  • If you use anti tags like #ANTI SHIPNAME, everyone who is searching for SHIPNAME will see your anti post. Don’t use SHIPNAME when creating your anti tag if you don’t want people to get upset about it. 
  • Don’t put something that isn’t an edit in an edit tag. People are going into the edit tag to look for edits and if your post isn’t an edit, it defeats the purpose of the edit tag. 
  • Don’t spam the tags. 
  • Reblog; don’t repost
  • The OP (original poster) will often read your tags when you reblog a post, so if you say something nasty in the tags, the OP will (probably) see it. Say something nice instead!

So change in tagging policy! Apparently, bots can find and like posts with not-safe-for-work content even if it’s tagged after the first five tags. Apparently, this has been happening to some other people and it’s happened to be recently. So, from now on my naughty posts will be tagged n-s-f-w. Blacklist accordingly.
