Hey!! Do you have work up on Goodreads that shouldn’t be there? Fear not, I’ve got some resources that can help you.
@malallory was kind enough to send me some good information earlier: anybody who has at least 50 books in their Goodreads profile can apply to be a “librarian” on the site, which allows them to add, remove, and edit book information. So ask around, maybe put in the tags here some people you know that have librarian status! They might be able to help remove works from Goodreads that has been added in your name.
@mystic-majestic is one such kind individual and has given permission to be volunteered for the cause. I’d like to get a bunch more names added here – maybe between all of us working together we can come to solutions that make everybody happy. We both want to make it clear that there was no malicious intent at work here.
(Idealistic to be sure. But there’s got to be respect among content creators and consumers. I think this is a good way to start.)
I love you all, good luck. ❤
So I’m a goodreads librarian but (as I just found out) I don’t have the ability to delete things that have more than a few reviews–you need to be a superlibrarian for that? Which I am not.
However, from the librarian page:
* book-length fanfiction which is complete (no WIPs, please), and self-published. Note that we do remove fanfiction at the author’s request.

(sidenote: I’ve contacted someone that I’m pretty sure IS a superlibrarian to ask about it, but I am happy to try to help in any way I can for now? for example, I know I can delete links to AO3)
So if you contact them they have it in their rules that it will be removed. (https://www.goodreads.com/about/contact_us or email support@goodreads.com)
There’s also a whole thread in their forum here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/2120086-fanfiction-deletion which I DID NOT read all of but it goes into detail on this topic, probably about the reason why that caveat is included in the librarian instructions page.
