What is it?
A creations challenge (which includes fics, art, vidding, giffing, and any other form of art used for fan creations) just for the Rare Ships (“rare” is anything that isn’t the two main ships). So come and show your love for the ships that never get enough!

What is this month’s theme?
This month’s theme is “Working Out the Kinks” You can expect prompts that are, you guessed it, kinks! Special Note: This round will have two levels Mild and Spicy. Mild prompts will be, well, mild vanilla kinks and the Spicy will be the more sex focused, intense kinks. As always, you’re welcome to interpret the prompts as you see fit. 

How do we sign up?

– Sign ups are open until August 31st.
– Please reblog this post.
– Please make sure your ‘submit’ page is turned on or we will not be able to send the prompt.
– Send an ask to the page telling us your choice for ship. (We are allowing you to sign up for up to 3 ships, however this will give you 3 sets of prompts, so please be sure you can complete all of them if you choose to sign up for more than one!) Special Note: Please specify whether you would like a Mild or Spicy prompt(s)
– You can follow the page, but it’s not required.

What happens when we sign up?
– Around September 5th we will be sending you a submission with your prompt and your partner.
– Remember this is not a collaboration challenge – the partners are simply to get a few different takes on the same prompt!
– You have until October 1st to create your art piece based on this prompt.
– When you post it, be sure to tag #spnrareshipcc, your partner’s url, and your ship in the first five tags, or we won’t see it! (Please tag NSFW if you have any nsfw material).
– Please also make sure to list any warnings and tags using something similar to the suggested format on the blog page.
– We will reblog your creation to the challenge page for everyone to enjoy!

so I kinda knew you were into reylo, but I didn’t really make the connection until just now… are you aware of winterofherdiscontent? they do fucking amazing reylo (and other) art, and I feel like it’s something you need to see if you haven’t already

Oh, yes! I’ve seen some of their pieces floating around and damn. I’m really into the style and aesthetic. They make really gorgeous art. I hadn’t been following until now though, and that’s just a shame.

i already get your ao3 notifications 😀 but its a good idea! I tag people here too if they’ve asked to be, but i’v emoved on from doing individual posts (unless requested) and more on compilations posts

Makes sense! I’m trying to get on something of a normal schedule with posting things so at least it’s not so sporadic. So far I’ve been having decent results.

My dear friend @samanddeaninpanties made an excellent point the other day that if I wanted to get more interaction when I wrote stuff, I should ask people if they want to be notified when I actually post stuff.
