#celebratingdean | week 1: vampirism

I remember
there being quite an uproar after Hibbing
911
because of what Dean said to Starr – there were comments that Dean was either out
of character or being a hypocrite (mostly because of Benny) or that the Mark was making him revert to a simplistic black-and-white view of monsters.

But this
actually nicely captures Dean’s approach to supernatural
creatures in general: if they don’t kill humans, if they prove themselves trustworthy, if they’re
innocent, he will spare them, stand up for them, treat them like his equals.

And
if they kill or hurt people, they get a machete to the neck. Starr wasn’t scum
because she was a vampire, but because she was a vampire who kills.

Is it really though? Strike-through isn’t good for secrets. In my experience it makes a person even more curious 😉

But how else am I supposed to communicate an only partially intentional admission in writing? It’s not like I can just mumble it under my breath in text?
Curse you, internet people, for reading things that are clearly written in a public space where just anyone can read them!

I dearly love the people who follow 2 or more of my blogs but either 1) have no idea or b) know that I’m actually 12 cats in a trench coat each with it’s own independent life and blogging interest play along with the themes of each blog.
