‘Having fun there, Kid?’

After reading the novel and Leia remembering how Baby Ben wanted to be so much like his dad I had to finish an old sketch. It was to match this one I did of Han and wee Ben from years back.
Happy Mothers day!!
Destiel. Canonverse. Heavy Angst. Drug Abuse. Divergent after 13×01. (So MCD y’all)
It’s been months since Cas died. Months since Dean burned his body. Months since Mom disappeared through that rift and the world got a whole lot darker. Perhaps that’s why Dean isn’t on his A game and gets snatched by a djinn and wakes up a mechanic, living in Wichita with his husband Cas and their adopted daughter. Mom’s there, alive. Sam’s married to Eileen and they have a kid. It’s beautiful, even if Dean knows it’s a lie. It’s all over when Sam shows up, though, tearing through the dream and saving Dean’s life. In some ways, it’s worse than watching everything fall apart all over again.
But… it gives Dean an idea. If the djinn weren’t feeding off their victims, maybe the poison wouldn’t actually be that bad. Maybe. If Dean takes some, well… no one needs to know.
The poison, it turns out, provides not one but a million opportunities for Dean to have what he really wants. He can re-live high school fumbling his way through a school boy crush, a sailor with a strange sea creature trapped in his net, a movie star with a cocky, stubborn co-star. In every one he’s got Cas and Sam and everyone he’s ever lost. In every one he’s got a second chance to do it right.
Except Dean finds himself needing a higher and higher dose to fall asleep and he’s taking longer and longer to wake and Sam is getting suspicious.
oh no no don’t be sorry hahah it was a good sort of cry <3 have a good day babe!
I’m glad. 🙂 Thank you, and you too ❤
@dragonpressgraphics replied to your post “Made up Fic title: A Study in Motion”
that sounds awesome 😀
Thank you! 😀
Oh! Hugs for you!

I’m sorry I made you cry but I’m glad they were happy tears! As someone who also struggles with mental health issues, portraying mental illness and all the good, bad, and strange that goes with it is really important to me. I’m glad that showing just a little of it, even in a small blurb, was uplifting for you. 🙂
Destiel. Modern AU.
Castiel has a normal life. He’s got a nice job, a nice apartment, a nice car. It’s all generally nice, really, but it’s boring. He can’t remember the last time he did anything to shake up his routine, outside of occasionally buying lunch instead of bringing it from home. He’s mostly okay with it, but his cousin Balthazar, decidedly isn’t. That’s how Castiel finds himself in a swing class at the community center, pairing up with the only person who seems to be a worse dancer than he is, Dean Winchester.
A few classes later he finds himself sharing drinks with Dean, then a few months later they’re sharing kisses. It’s easy. It’s comfortable. It’s fun.
But there’s one thing Dean hadn’t mentioned. One thing Castiel becomes very aware of one day he shows up to Dean’s apartment, unannounced, to a room full of half-built model planes and his new boyfriend rattling on for fifteen minutes about… marketability? flea markets? model glue?
Turns out, Dean’s bipolar, and Castiel is going to have to learn to roll with the punches and learn how to navigate these new highs and lows of life.
(Now with more dancing as metaphor!)
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wtf I was not prepared

Sastiel. Canonverse. Feat: the eldritch bunker!
Dean likes to tease his brother for everything he possibly can but the latest in a long line of tiny things that really aren’t that big of a deal are the bunny slippers. It’s not like Sam cares, really, but they’re comfortable and soft and Dean can get over himself. It gets worse, however, when Cas finds his own pair of pastel pink bunny slippers because these ones squeak.
Well, if Dean’s gonna be a jerkass about it, maybe it’s time to a couple of jerkasses right back. Que bunny slippers, bunny footie pajamas, bunny ears, and stuffed bunnies everywhere – Dean’s bed, the showers, the trunk of the Impala, literally everywhere. It’s all fun and games until a truce is called and everyone decides to go back to normal.
Or… almost everyone. Most of the bunny stuff was supposed to go out in the dumpster, so who the hell decided to put it all in the library? And why is there more in the kitchen? And the pool? …Wait since when did they have a pool??
