Just because it’s not new doesn’t mean it can’t be a reason. I lose followers all the time from either 1) wincest 2) sastiel or 3) personal posts. None of these things are new but they are what drives my followers away the fastest

Oh oh!! There’s another option: some people unfollow if you haven’t followed them after X amount of weeks or months.

I guess people don’t look through the common tags blogs use? Or scroll through the blog? That’s odd if they don’t but… eh. 

Also it could be the non-mutual-ness thing. That’s possible.
