Look, I never claimed to be mature. I saw 420 and I laughed because deep down, I’m still 14. (The actual all years kudos number is a lot higher, but I don’t really wanna post it and seem like bragging.)
But I’m proud of myself! 100 people like my writing enough to get emails about it. That’s really fucking neat.

Of course. I know I mentioned that I believe in reincarnation, which I do, but I’m also inclined to believe that somethings people get stuck for lack of a better word. Sometimes people just aren’t ready to go yet. Or they’re in between lifetimes and they’re just kinda hanging out in the spirit world, giving advice, listening, guiding, doing whatever. I don’t really believe the dead stop interacting with the living just because they’re dead.

I don’t know if this one counts really, but I’m gonna say La Llorona. When I was a kid we were told never (and I mean never) set foot in a ditch because she’d come and get you and take you away because she was always looking for her children. This was all made a lot scarier because my elementary school was right next to an arroyo and you had to walk over a bridge to get to school every day. No one just cut through it because we were that certain she was real.
Yup! That’s what I think happens when we die. We just kinda move on to the next one. I’m also a pretty big believer that people who were close in one life try to find each other in the next.

Sharks probably. I’m terrified of sharks. Or being abandoned. Don’t like that one either.

If I have I don’t remember it. I nearly choked to death as an infant (on a penny from a jar that I knocked over. Mom got all of them up and out of my grubby little hands except for one). So if I had a near-death experience then I don’t remember it.
