Imo, Tumblr isn’t a great indicator of who reads your fic. It’s those unknown subscribers on ao3 who are your real fans (I’m one of them).

Yeah, I know tumblr isn’t the best for actually finding out who reads my fic but I was just curious. I tend to wonder what the people who follow me are following for, especially when I don’t post a lot of original content. I am grateful for my subs on ao3, but I wish I knew who they were so I could interact with them a little more.
