I know it was fanfiction writer appreciation day and I didn’t really tag anyone (honestly I worry about forgetting someone and hurting their feelings so I didn’t do it) but I just wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who writes fanfic. 

You all give us wonderful, well-crafted worlds full of laughter, heartache, horror, love, smut, and friendship and you do it all for free. You touch so many lives. You give us worlds where our favorite people hurt to show us that we’re not alone in our pain. You give us worlds where our favorite people fall in love so we can experience joy and warmth along with them. You make us whoop and holler when characters triumph, you rip our hearts out, you make us laugh uncontrollably, and you share with us your steamiest fantasies. You make us feel. 

So thank you, all of you. Thank you for giving me exactly what I need exactly when I needed it.
