If you’re writing an analysis of something, you’re trying to convince your audience to believe you. That’s how argument works. If you’re pointing things out and going “hey, look, themes! I have evidence,” it’s an argument. 

Also, yes, I know that meta and analysis are two different things, but in fandom the terms get muddled and people use one when they mean the other. I know. I’m using the terminology that the masses use.

And also, don’t use a post about being nice in fandom to pimp your meta (colloquial definition). There was a point to that post and I fear it went right over your head.
