I have lost seven followers today. Astounding.

ACES & AROS ARE QUEER EVEN IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT.
Seriously guys, I’m gray-asexual and probably aro-spectrum (I’m still sorting that part out…) and if you don’t think we’re queer, and if you don’t think the A in QUILTBAG stands for ace/aro, you can just fuck right off my blog. I don’t usually say stuff like that but I’ve seen SO MUCH ace/aro hate during this Pride month and I’m honestly sick to death of it. We exist and we’ve absolutely had our own struggles and trying to exclude us makes you part of the problem, because if you think that cis-het people welcome us into the fold as “one of their own” with open arms I’ve got a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn, it can be yours for just a buck…
This. And the blowback I’ve seen from it are older people who like to say, “the A didn’t used to stand for ace.” Well, that’s great, Chad, but it’s not the 70s/80s anymore.
