Theses are two sentences from my entry for the @spnshortstories anthology, which is a collection of 100 short Supernatural gen fics written by fan authors. 

My contribution was to autumn. The title of the piece is Auribus Teneo Lupum.

There’s a splash every few feet, the skitter of a can or some other trash kicked across the alley, a hissing groan coming from the other man. Arthur moves faster.
